I need to do 4 dental implants. In my home country it will cost me 1750 euro for one (900 prothesis; 850 tooth). Any idea how much it would cost in Pattaya meeting acceptable quality standards. And which office do you suggest? Thanks in advance for your reply

For that price in the Euro I would not even think of Thailand. I am having my implants done in Colombia. Now waiting for the bone grafts to heal. Mine cost me ( 790 US for the implant and 595 for the tooth) I decided not to have them done in Thailand. But, have been thinking of going to Turkey to get them finished. Just for the travel experience. I would like to go to Turkey and the surrounding countries for a visit.

In Spain I am paying 700 euros for a complete implant with the crown in a prestigious medical center (not the typical Argentine dentist, but a dental center with a good reputation, with a maxillofacial surgeon, dentists, nurses, etc.).

That's 27,000 baht at the current exchange rate.

OMG, that is cheapppp.  I should have looked into Spain wow.... I have a friend there that I have been wanting to visit for a while now.

There is a real price difference between the different implant devices.

That's what I was wondering. After a recent extraction my Thai dentist handed me a leaflet with a choice of two implants; 37,000 for South Korean made and 40,000 baht for German made. I haven't been back since.

I strongly recommend forgetting Pattaya (despite the good reviews that always get posted) and heading to a top place in Bangkok. Sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Bangkok would be more I think.

But guys please TELL me how long you actually have to STAY there for dental implant treatment.

Is it 6 weeks?

The land of botched work, would rather pay 40k baht than trust a Turkish dentist

To be fair, turkeys aren't known for their teeth.

Have you never heard of a Turkey Crown?

If I were in the OP's shoes I'd be contacting a few dental clinics for details & costs. But hey, that's just me.

I'm at a loss as to why anyone would be confused with my answer to the OP. Maybe I'm missing something ?

It is what constitutes trolling around here... don't let it get to you!

Why Implants, they are far to expensive...  maybe 20 - 30 years ago would have had this option, but not offered now at 74 not worth it.

They use to do Cemented pins with a Crown on top, but where  where is this done these days ?

I have 3 Cemented pins + 2 bridges done in a Hospital in Bangkok 20 years ago, never any problem and are still fine

now have 2 broken teeth + the 1 remaining tooth of my 'own' need sorting, have been to a number of Dentists, all are the same have Implants or plastic plate = 200,000 baht or 20,000 baht..  asking for Cemented pins they look at me as if I'm mad,

the 2 broken teeth are no problem as no bottom tooth there so not needed, + broke off  6 years ago the other about 4 years ago = Dentist said no pain or problem just leave then there.. just need 1 x tooth to replace my only 'own' remaining one at the front...

If a Cemented pin crown is still perfect after 20 years why not another ?

In Europe, you can get dental work done in Hungary and Turkey cheaper than in Thailand. It's 20,000 baht for an implant in Turkey.

That certainly helps the OP who is looking for pattaya info.

I had five gold crowns (no pins or root canals) 50 years ago. Only one has since suffered a root infection and the tooth was extracted. Had two metal/fused porcelain crowns (no root canals) two years ago in Thailand. Same specialist high street dentist also fits implants at 37,000 or 40,000 baht each.

There is no one fits all implant. Work and consequently price depends on what the state of your gums require. If you don't have enouhj bone depth you need a sinus lift. This requires special surgery, same if you need bone implant before you can put in a tooth implant.

Your implant may be cheaper here. Not necessarily same quality. I made this experience.

I still live in Germany. My German dentist works together with a dental laboratory in Turkey. Very good work. But if I live in Thailand, I would rather have it done in Thailand in case problems arise
