‘BIG JOKE’ LEFT COUNTRY, DAYS AFTER GOV’T WARNING

This is the equivalent of the Thai bus driver doing a runner after a "brake failure".

Hardly “doing a runner” while he has asked permission from PM and has published his depart.  Don’t pretend to know everything.

"He plans to return to Thailand on April 1st." 😂

Any coincidence to April Fools Day "Big Jokes" is entirely coincidental! 'Nuff said!

Short notice trips for a family to the UK are quite expensive - if you are on a policeman's salary!

Indeed. I don’t imagine he will be in the economical section of the aircraft. Government or private aircraft?

He is a General and deputy commander of the RTP , not a traffic policeman. Apart from that he is issue from a wealthy family and has with his wife a personal fortune.

Maybe he can pick up the other Big Joke named Boss while in Europe.

It amazes me the two parallel but conflicting threads about Thai police incomes.  On one side you have the very low salaries, momma noodles and near bankruptsies reported among Thai police on one side and then there is the contradictory thread where the other half have unusual wealth, businesses, mansion and family in the UK sipping tea plus fleets of luxury vehicles which is all "above board"??

Quite a difference between a cop on the beat and a General Commander of the Royal Thai Police don’t you think ?  Add to that , everyone !! has a right to have a personal fortune, doesn’t stop them from doing the work they want , don’t you think ?

A policeman goes on 10 days leave for a holiday with his family and it makes the news?

It's THE policeman who is in the news every day anyhow!

I felt he was beyond reproach and doing a great job cleaning up the force.  I think he will be found innocent of all charges.  He must have trodden on a few wrong toes along with the number 1 boss.  These events are saddening because I, along with others, had great faith in him as untouchable.

That's a long way to go on holiday for 6 day trip !

My new theory is he will catch and being back "Boss" to regain his status as top cop!    Or he catches "Boss" and does some bargaining to get bosses family influence to straighten out his problems.

Interpol has issued a “red notice” to arrest the fugitive Thai heir to the Red Bull billions over his role in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Bangkok, police have said.

The move by the international police organisation is the latest in the years-long saga surrounding Vorayuth “Boss” Yoovidhya who crashed his Ferrari in 2012, killing a police officer.

The charges against Vorayuth, who is the grandson of Red Bull’s co-founder Chaleo Yoovidhya, were dropped in July, sparking public outrage among the Thai public who saw it as an example of impunity granted the wealthy in the country.

The anger led to investigations being launched by various government agencies including the attorney general’s office, which last month announced fresh charges against Vorayuth of reckless driving causing death, and cocaine use.

A police spokesman, Col Krissana Pattanacharoen, confirmed on Sunday that a red notice – Interpol’s most urgent alert – was issued earlier this week.
 Details of the notice.

And hasn't been active for quite some time, you still protecting guilty Thais... well done

How, exactly, can my showing that the Interpol red notice was issued be interpreted as "defending him"?    I have never defended his actions and you can quote nothing to show that I have.
