I think there's a few retired headmasters amongst them... they take everything so seriously and attempt to piss down from their ivory tower on any behavior that runs counter to the value systems they used to yap endlessly on about every chance they got, they had a captive audience back then, now they got sweet nothing aside from maybe the BAN button 🤣. I just picture our old headmaster when I read some of their posts...

They are attention seekers and think it will hurt that poster, I normally do cartwheels all the way own our soi when fragile freddy blocks me!

I've blocked everyone . Except one which  luckily is my second account. And even that one p***s's me off sometimes.

I've only blocked a couple of stalkers, some people seem to almost block everyone because they can't handle people disagreeing with them, but yes a block threat is no threat at all

I avoid all sorts, same as in the real world.

It's lets the blockee known that their behaviour is offensive or needs attention, at least in one persons eyes.....maybe they'll take notice after while.

I have two posters blocked...  primarily because they are out and out trolling idiots and there really is no point seeing their posts.

 

One of them I think is banned, the other I have a genuine dislike for and suspect he's just a nasty character who's taken a dislike to me and is seeking to trigger a nasty argument....    I block him to avoid being triggered into responding...   But to tell him....  "thats it, I'm blocking you" is pathetic....

   Some of them are school teacher's and they threaten to block someone as they think that they are excluding a pupil from class , they liken blocking someone to sending a pupil out the classroom .

   But they don't realise that its only them who lose out because the board carries on regardless and its just them who cannot see posts .

   They ear excluding themselves, rather than excluding the person that they blocked

The other is Big Nok... who surely has been banned...   Its not that I disliked anything he wrote - just that he wrote so much dumb rubbish it just wasn't worth seeing his repetitive posts fill the screen....   He's been reincarnated I think.
