Chalong Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with the burglary of a foreign-owned villa, according to a Phuket News report.

The suspect, named as 45 year old Santi Buakaew and a resident of Cherngtalay, in the coastal area of Thalang district, was arrested in Rawai. Santi was wanted for breaking into and robbing a villa in an undisclosed part of the island last October.

On October 2, Phuket Provincial Court issued a warrant for his arrest. The authorities have not provided any information on the property that was targeted or on the nature of any items stolen or their value.

A foreigner used money to buy it.

Hmmm.....   a Bad Thai / Innocent foreigner story.....

... Interesting that The Thaiger never picked this one up given its recently adjusted rhetoric which focuses on anything negative a foreigner does.

Today, the suspect's face is pixellated yet the handcuffs are not.

Both index fingers extended...Score... 2 points.
