Anyone who places movie stars on a pedestal and worships their views need to have their head's examined.

Yes, and I must agree with you.

If only we could write down the views of movie stars on scraps of paper, put them in a hat, together with the views of dullards on the same Topics, and then pull them out of the adz, and read them to a committee, we would see what we would see.

Well, when I traveled to South Laos 9 years ago, all of the bars there had "Friends" on their TV in the bar, replaying old shows.

The audience was not Americans.

How on earth do people like that shallow, superficial show? Without a single joke that's actually funny?  The plot on Friends was deep as a teaspoon.

Joey wasn't funny.

And the smug, good-looking junky wasn't funny either.

WTF?!?

AND THAT FAT ORANGE ASSCLOWN AIN'T FUNNY NEITHER 😲

It's all part of the dumbing down of the American populace which has now spread across the globe. The laugh track was one of the WORST inventions in the evolution of "entertainment." People can now completely zone out and shove deadly garbage in their mouths while the screen dictates their thoughts and emotions.
