electric fan repair.

Featured Replies

One of my fans [app 2 years old] has stopped working.

Is it worth getting it repaired and are their any places in Pattaya that do this?

I think I saw one place a long time ago that advertised [ cannot remember where.].

Probably the starting capacitor if it does not run or run slow. If you can not replace yourself this guy can do

Have many small electric repair shops around, all can do simple 5 min job. Take off the motor cover. See small black block connected  with 2 wires. Snap it off and get a replacement (amorn, lazada, any electric shop) and connect back. 20-30 baht part

Is the faffing worth it? fans are quite cheap. There's Thepprasit soi 7 wheelchair guy, and i saw an advert from a Thai guy on facebook so maybe search there

Not suggesting you've abused the fan, but did you ever clean it on regular basis?

Most likely just needs oiling , dismantle it and apply some Singer oil on the bearings ,

I do mine regularly and they have lasted for years .not rocket science

I take it he is a different guy to the wheelchair guy on 3rd road posted above - or has he got 2 locations?
