  • So the West is to blame for Russia invading a sovereign country at the whim of a despotic dictator? Where do you get your warped one sided information from?

If you think F-16s are going to make any difference to the outcome, then you’re the one that’s dreaming :). Goes well with your hope strategy though.

Says the know-it-all Red bloke probably sitting in Cardiff...........😂

Now tell us why the F16's won't make a difference....🤭

Let it burn..........

Russia’s Morozovsk Airbase is burning tonight after a successful Ukrainian attack drone strike. Multiple secondary explosions could also be seen from nearby.

If they are they have done nothing yet, as if they had done something it's be all over here.

Since the Ukrainians are not officially confirming or denying that they have F-16's yet, they're hardly likely to publicise any action they may (or may not) have been involved in.

Great days work. The attack also knocked out air defense. "four S-400 air defence systems protecting the peninsula, which Russia illegally annexed in 2014."

Ukraine says it sank Russian submarine in Crimea

The Rostov-on-Don, a kilo-class attack submarine launched in 2014, sank after it was struck in a missile attack on the port city of Sevastopol on Friday, Ukraine's general staff said in a statement.
It was reportedly one of four submarines operated by Russia's Black Sea fleet capable of launching Kalibr cruise missiles. The Russian defence ministry has not commented.

"The destruction of Rostov-on-Don once again proves that there is no safe place for the Russian fleet in the Ukrainian territorial waters of the Black Sea," the general staff in Kyiv said in a statement on Saturday.

LOL. you think the Russians would not have noted that and made a comment about it? Of course they may be used for something else not against the Russians.

I think more than 10 F-16 planes are now in Ukraine, ready for missions.

Be prepared for some very interesting videos and images soon.

The website euromaidenpress is credible but I'm not sure if the article source (Interfax Russia) is. If so then I wish on this occasion Ukraine had just gone ahead with the plan and ignored what Washington said.

Russia claims US intervention averted Ukrainian attack on Putin during Russian Navy Day

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has allegedly claimed that a phone call between Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov and US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin helped prevent a potential escalation in the ongoing war with Ukraine, as reported by Interfax Russia on 04 August 2024.

On Rossiya 1 TV channel, Ryabkov further claimed that Ukraine ostensibly planned assassination attempts on Russian President Vladimir Putin and Defense Minister Belousov during their stay in St. Petersburg on 28 July, Russia’s Navy Day.

According to Ryabkov, Belousov ostensibly contacted Austin to inform him about alleged Ukrainian plans for the attack:

Did US Veto Ukraine Plan to Attack Putin's Navy Parade? What We Know

Sergei Ryabkov, Russia's deputy foreign minister, said during a broadcast on state TV channel Russia-1 that the U.S. intervened in a plot that would have led to a "new escalation."

Russian news outlets, including state-run RT, reported that Ukrainian intelligence services were preparing an assassination attempt on Putin and Belousov at the Navy Day parade in St. Petersburg.

Newsweek couldn't independently verify the reports and has contacted Ukraine's Foreign Ministry for comment by email.

The results are impressive, I have counted 5 sank submarines, and those are only on the last page of this forum! 😀
