Which Side Will Thailand Choose?

For some time I have believed we are currently in a global crisis. 

 

The PROXY war in Ukraine, Israel genocide, The US trying to poke China at every opportunity. Even little UK as good as declaring war on Russia with their tiny army.

 

If the sh7t hits the fan especially between the US and its western monkeys against China... Where will Thailand come down??

 

The US are going to definitely put pressure on Thailand to side with the west, but siding with China is way better for their interests.

 

In my opinion we have never been closer to nuclear war and some US political idiots even think the US can win a nuclear war.... Hopefully the Pentagon is staffed with people who are a lot more realistic.

For whatever reason, I also thought about this today.

I think Thailand will try to stay neutral, as much as that is possible.

But if pressured, then I guess they will be more on the side of China and not the USA.

One reason for that is, IMHO, that the USA is in decline and China has still a lot of potential for the future. And obviously China is more or less around the corner, the USA is far away.

Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and the 'buying' of some African nations. To name just a few. 'Soft' loans everywhere and they come with a political price.

What do we really know before it eventually happens? 

 

We are already in a seriously period of wild life dissapearing, crucial wildlife for us humans, and a nuclear war would not help much. So everything between 10% to 90 maybe 99 percentage can be realistic,

You need to read Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins whose job it was to do exactly that... While China forgives debt all over the place.

Dropping the bombs was the best thing that ever happened to Japan. It saved millions of Japanese lives. 

 

As for the OP, get a grip on yourself. We're nowhere near nuclear war and even Putin has said it won't happen. The only way a nuke will be used is by a minor state, the major players have far too much to lose. Nixon was one of the first to mention the minor player risk. 

 

As for China. China cannot win any type of war against the USA and allies and they know it. They developed a gigantic Achilles Heel with the Three Gorges Dam, and a single cruise missile would wipe out around 80% of China's military capability. It would also kill 50 million Chinese and render around 400 million homeless.

Oh my!  For the (apparently) very few of us with a university education, and the inclination to read, watch and learn real science programs, a WW3 fought with nuclear weapons would result in the complete extermination of the human race, as a matter of fact.

 

This is not to say that everybody would die from the bombs, but the radiation moving around the planet, the blackout effect from the sun killing all plant life, etc. will do that job quite effectively.

Quite some time ago, I seem to remember a Taiwanese military statement that in the event of a PRC invasion, Three Gorges would certainly be in play.

A nuclear war is always possible as long as mad leaders like Putin , Kim Yong Un are in power and control of their autocratic regimes ,

Can happen anytime that one ignores the deadly consequences and decides to press the button .... for whatever reason ...

 

But , I think that , after the Coronavirus , Scientists in isolated underground laboratories somewhere are busy creating a  more lethal version of it that will be released when they think the time has come . The vaccine against that only available for the ' chosen few ' . It would be a cruel , but relatively clean way to get rid of the human overpopulation without destroying too much of the biosphere and keep the planet in a livable condition .

 

Only that would mean that the present capitalistic , profit based system can be replaced by a system where robotic workforce and AI take care for the wellbeing of the survivors ...
