Pretty clear cut. I wish the authorities would get serious with these people.

Who cares?

Nobody cares when a farang is assaulted by a Thai. It's applauded.

To justify that cobblers, FruitPudding, just one example of Thai authorities' doing that would be interesting to read.

"...joined this forum to get visa advice which was top rate.

But this forum seems to be more about Brits behaving terribly..."

The forum is "AseanNow", what makes you think that the emphasis of the forum should be on visas?

This forum changed its name a few years ago.

Back in 2003 when I joined the forum it was called the Thai Visa Forum and is probably still called that by some of the older members, such as me.

Welcome to Thailand.

Just remember that only bad news sells.

100s of thousands (millions) of Brits live and visit here and nothing happens.

That may well be true but us Brits make up less than 10% of the total number of tourists here and seem to making up 90% of these unsavory incidents sadly.

There is not even a close second.

I reckon that it's the retarded, narcissistic head-shaving that causes all this aggression.  It always seems to (literally) raise it's extremely ugly head.

Yea , they get it from those pesky monks.  Never turn your back on one , especially when armed with an alms bowl.

If you stay with the forum you will find that the majority of posters are normal, some are pedantic, some are grammar nasties and some are simply not worth bothering with.

It is a very helpful forum for someone like me who is new here.
If you can not find something you can just ask and get helpful information.

Glad I found it, especially for the visa stuff.

Just a few weirdos with some sort of chip on their shoulder.

Who are probably the ones causing all the trouble with their attitude.
Easy to spot the ones with issues.

Let the excuses for our lad begin.

There are no excuses for what he did. The statement "jail and then deport" is used too often on this forum, but in this idiots case, he could do with a few weeks as the fudge at the packers shop and then on his way out of here, never to return.

Murders, running up sexual service bills and refusing to pay, assaults, sexually assaults on kids, human trafficking, working illegally

Most murders, and sexual assault of kids often by teachers, is committed by Thais. not Brits. Someone was murdered for 20 baht last week. Be careful out there.

Anyone else think MalcolmB's constant referral to US Brits is a bit of a decoy? Quite possibly a stool pigeon. Another Brit hater? Maybe even the return of Bignok.....

Absolutely, he's giving himself away, it's our old friend GOAT, I actually liked his posts, rubbed a few folk up the wrong way which was amusing.
