Opinion Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
Seems easier for foreigners that put kids into schools on southern islands to get a visa than it is for me getting another extension for my Thai child nowadays. -

‘Putin clearly won’: Pundits say meeting was ‘bad for Americans’
we or the majority of us know that Trump's so called "deals" are all based on arrogance/blackmail and threats to the opponents, why oohhh why is he not using the same actions/language with Putin, why he's not following his previous statements about the 2ndary tariffs and why is he not raising Russia's tariffs, currently the lowest all around at 10%, why does Russia has special treatment, now with so many WHY's one does has to wonder what does Putin has on him, it must be something very big, the thought that Trump is has/been a Russian agent should start to flow into people's mind, don't be surprised if we start to see the signs... Opinion Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
ASEANNOW: Until recently, retiring in Thailand was straightforward. A Non-Immigrant OA or OX visa was available to anyone over 50 who could show either 800,000 baht (£17,000) in a Thai bank account or a monthly pension of 65,000 baht (£1,380). Health insurance was required but manageable, and the bureaucracy was relatively light. Wochenblitz.com Thailand continues to offer the traditional pensioner visas. The Non-Immigrant O Visa is available to anyone over the age of 50 who can prove either 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account or a monthly pension of 65,000 baht – with no health insurance required. The OA visa additionally requires health insurance, while the OX visa has higher requirements: 3 million baht deposits for a 10-year visa.
