A hame he never was nominated for an Oscar for his work, at least he received an honary one.

M*A*S*H and The Hunger Games star Donald Sutherland dies at 88 after a long illness just months before memoir release

DONALD Sutherland, known equally for his oddball and dramatic roles over a six-decade Hollywood career, has died at 88.

Sutherland, who gained notoriety for parts in The Dirty Dozen, M*A*S*H, and most recently as President Snow in The Hunger Games series, died on Thursday.

He was an absolutely brilliant actor and brought a tremendous level of authenticity to his performances, such a delight to watch the films that he's done. He will be missed. 

 

30s is too soon. Dying in your 30's is tragic.

As is the 40s

Sympathy dissapates from there.

50s is such a shame 

60s is too soon 

70s a good run 

80s a life well lived

90s - a fricking hell of a ride

Not sad at all. Probably had a good life and at 88 a good time to exit.
