Pattaya Heat - #1 movie on Netflix

Anyone watch it? I got tired of reading sub-titles but was good to see Pattaya scenery in a movie (and hear them pronounce Pattaya the right way)

Where's that underground casino? And I want to find Angel Pizza, looks like filmed on soi 13/4?

It's now dropped to #2 most watched movie this week so time to get it back to #1

I downloaded it but haven't watched it yet.

I also recently downloaded another movie just titled "Pattaya" from 2016. It's in French and has English subs. Haven't watched it yet either so not sure if it was actually filmed in Pattaya or not.

IMDB - Pattaya (2016)

Can you post the download link? I can't find it

There's an upscale coffee shop on Jomtien Beach Rd, next to the Night Market that was featured in "Pattaya Heat"  Now lines of Instagrammers at all hours posing in front.

People are so weird about anything movie connected.  My home city of Boston is known for it's multitude of historical sites and attractions yet the most visited place for ten years running was what was once called "The Bull & Finch Pub", the genuine pub that the pub in the famous "Cheer's" TV show was modeled after.  Long lines from dawn to dusk daily just to see a fictional TV location

No.  Beacon Street, Boston in the basement of what was the Hampshire House.  It was a genuine English pub, disassembled, shipped to Boston and re-assembled in the 1950s.

When "Cheers" became the top-rated sit-com on US television, whoever actually owned the right's to the name: 'Cheer's" cashed in, opening up Cheers pubs in many locations including the airport, Congress St., Quincy and a few more.

It's a torrent file on Pirate Bay (Pattaya FRENCH DVDRiP x264 2016) and maybe other sites. I'm not sure a direct link is allowed.

I you aren't familiar with torrents and Pirate Bay you may not be able to download it.

I'm surprised it was allowed to be resleased. Shows illegal casino's, drugs being sold out of a pizza place, a loose married Thai woman rooting strangers, murder with guns and corrupt Thai Police.  All it needed was a couple of Ladyboys robbing some gold chains from Indians on beach road to be fully authentic 😉

I watched it last night with the GF. She thought it was great and insisted on watching it again this morning. Personally, I found the story a bit thin to say the least, and the cast a confusing mix of real Thais, luuk krungs, and actual farangs who apparently speak fluent Thai. Try an old film, "Pattaya Maniac", it's far better IMHO.
