Team Trump Trash

Look at these people. Trash talk no substance. Politics is about policies. The left have lost it. All abuse. No policies. They criticise Vance if he does not smile more. So 5% Harris inflation is fine if you smile. How stupid.

So I'll ask you again. Trump's policies seem to lead to more inflation. What will he do to reduce inflation to offset his proposed tariffs on foreign imports, continuing tax cuts for the rich that would otherwise expire, and possible influence on the normally independent interest rate policy.

Trump is always losing. Twice impeached, four times criminally indicted, lost to Biden in 2020. Solid record of losing. He can do it again in 2024. 👍🏼

Factually incorrect. Meanwhile you are running around to every anti-Trump topic, like a headless chicken, trying to defend him. What a sad and dire existence. You must be thoroughly exhausted. Soon Ha

He had low inflation before. The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour.

More mining lowers energy costs, lowers transport and retail costs.

proposed tariffs on foreign imports,

Food is a bigger part of inflation than goods you buy once a year.

So more sexual encounters with pornstars... More indictments....More convictions...More attempts to subvert the democratic process...more toadying up to Dictators.  Got it.

What could possibly go wrong?

1. Handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic

    •    Delayed Response: Critics argue that Trump’s early downplaying of the virus, along with a slow federal response, contributed to the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S.
    •    Promotion of Unproven Treatments: Trump publicly advocated for unproven treatments like hydroxychloroquine and suggested dangerous ideas like injecting disinfectant.
    •    Undermining Health Experts: He frequently contradicted and undermined public health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci.

2. Impeachments

    •    First Impeachment (2019): Trump was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress after allegedly pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden in exchange for military aid.
    •    Second Impeachment (2021): Trump was impeached for incitement of insurrection following the January 6 Capitol riot, where a mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol.

3. January 6 Capitol Riot

    •    Incitement: Trump was accused of inciting a violent mob to attack the Capitol by continuously claiming that the 2020 election was stolen.
    •    Failure to Act: During the attack, Trump was criticized for not taking immediate action to quell the violence and for reportedly resisting calls to send in the National Guard.

4. Election Denialism

    •    Undermining Democracy: Trump’s refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election and his repeated false claims of widespread voter fraud have been seen as undermining public trust in the democratic process.
    •    Legal Challenges: He and his allies filed numerous lawsuits to overturn the election results, the vast majority of which were dismissed for lack of evidence.

5. Immigration Policies

    •    Family Separations: His administration’s “zero tolerance” policy led to the separation of thousands of migrant children from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border.
    •    Travel Ban: Trump implemented a travel ban targeting several predominantly Muslim countries, which was widely criticized as discriminatory.

6. Handling of Race Relations

    •    Charlottesville Comments: After a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville in 2017, Trump was criticized for saying there were “very fine people on both sides,” seen as equating white supremacists with counter-protesters.
    •    Response to Black Lives Matter Protests: Trump’s response to the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests was marked by a heavy-handed approach, including deploying federal troops to cities, and his rhetoric was seen as inflaming racial tensions.

7. Environmental Policies

    •    Withdrawal from Paris Agreement: Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement, arguing it was unfair to the U.S., a move criticized for its potential impact on global climate change efforts.
    •    Deregulation: His administration rolled back numerous environmental protections, favoring industry over environmental concerns, which critics argue has long-term negative impacts on the planet.

8. Foreign Policy Controversies

    •    North Korea: His meetings with Kim Jong-un were seen by some as legitimizing a dictator without achieving significant denuclearization.
    •    Russia: Trump’s relationship with Russia, particularly his comments favoring Vladimir Putin and his campaign’s alleged connections to Russian interference in the 2016 election, led to extensive investigations.

9. Corruption and Conflicts of Interest

    •    Emoluments Clause: Trump faced numerous accusations of violating the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution by profiting from his businesses while in office.
    •    Nepotism: He appointed his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner to senior advisory positions in the White House, raising concerns about nepotism.

10. Attacks on the Press

    •    “Fake News” Rhetoric: Trump repeatedly attacked the media, calling them “the enemy of the people,” which critics argue has undermined press freedom and contributed to increased hostility towards journalists.

11. Political Norms and Institutions

    •    Undermining the Justice Department: Trump was criticized for interfering in DOJ operations, including attempts to influence investigations into his associates.
    •    Pardons: He issued controversial pardons to political allies and individuals convicted of serious crimes, raising concerns about abuse of the pardon power.

12. Sexual Misconduct Allegations

    •    Numerous Allegations: Over a dozen women have accused Trump of sexual misconduct, including assault, which he has denied.
    •    Access Hollywood Tape: A 2005 tape emerged during the 2016 campaign where Trump made lewd comments about women, which was widely condemned.

13. Business Practices

    •    Trump University: Trump’s for-profit education venture was sued for fraud, leading to a $25 million settlement.
    •    Tax Controversies: Investigations into Trump’s finances revealed years of tax avoidance, paying little or no federal income taxes in some years.

14. Relationship with White Supremacists and Extremists

    •    “Stand Back and Stand By”: During a 2020 debate, Trump told the extremist group Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by,” which was interpreted as an endorsement by the group.
    •    Refusal to Condemn Extremists: He has been criticized for hesitating to denounce white supremacist and far-right extremist groups.

15. International Relations

    •    Alienation of Allies: Trump’s “America First” policy and confrontational approach alienated many traditional U.S. allies, including members of NATO.
    •    Trade Wars: His trade war with China and tariffs on allies were criticized for disrupting global trade and harming American consumers and businesses.

Harris' team has a really effective strategy. They call out the felon's lies every time he spews one, which is to say every time he opens his mouth. They post facts, and he looks more and more weird and silly.

His presser at M-a-L was an absolute dumpster fire. He sounded like an idiot, and looked insane.

The felon only knows how to appeal to his cult, but they aren't enough to get him the EC. In just the last week, there was a massive change in the polls in WI, MI and PA, with Harris jumping out to a 4 point lead in each of those key States. Yes, it's still early, but the more Harris' campaign keeps hammering the felon on his lies and weirdness, the more bizarre and desperate he is going to become. More people at his Insurrection Rally than MLK's "I have a Dream Speech"? D E L U S I O N A L

By October he'll be in a straight jacket, drooling. disgracing his Depends, and being carted off to the Funny Farm.

This is getting really entertaining.

Yeh, that was funny, he had a bigger crowd than Martin Luther King.....😂

MLK, 250,000, Trump, 25,000 and half were outside the venue, so I read, because they would not go through the metal detector....🤭

Not if an externality like covid is the reason.

Fair enough on more mining. Likely small effect though.

Fair bit of food comes from overseas - canned dried frozen etc. He's suggesting an across the board tariff of 10 per cent on all US imports.

Inflation begets inflation. A one of increase to a sizeable percentage of consumer goods and materials that go into consumer goods can lead to a cycle of ongoing inflation. Higher wages etc.   See no reason to raise tariffs in any case. Republicans are not supposed to be about government intervention and protectionism but market forces.

I doubt it is on all goods. Be like luxury goods.

the amount of change that would need to happen if this tariff was implemented is huge. it's almost an entire overhaul of the system. the data that would need updating is astounding really. not something that can easily be done.

mfn would need to be thrown out which effects so many other countries as well. then you have USMCA formally NAFTA which is not as simple or clear cut as people think. the rules and regulations within the agreements would have a huge effect on imports as well.

in my professional opinion its just talk from the republicans.

or you could bring manufacturing back and avoid these silly issues. which i know would take a long time but it is a much better long term solution.

He isnt President now, and hasn't been for three years,so if Biden wanted to, he could already have arrested him.

But trying to stay out of jail is probably the biggest driving factor in him standing
