Going to be a few million peed of Thais if they take the 10k bribe promise away, especially as they just registered for it, and had plans what to buy. Better to have reduced it than promise it then scrap it.

Nothing to worry about, at this rate they will fix the next election anyway

IMHO and one thing for sure and certain. Thaskin is pulling the strings and got em all by the short and curly's!! Well before he arrived from exile (on a private jet) to serve a minimal, BS, jail sentence in luxury hospital suite.

No need to fix it when you have a tank or two. Just cancel them entirely.

That magnificent Thaksin Shinawatra.

He outwitted an entire political system, legal system and establishment. He spent just 1 day in prison...

...and now, here we are. His own spawn is now his puppet. From dog house to Top Dog.

Say what you want. The guy is a genius.

Clear the runway. TG  4506 from Dubai will. be landing very soon, to bring his sister back.

Untouchables.

(Golf clap).

Story not finished yet ...

The one who has the best laugh , is the one who laughs last .

True enough!!  We all know how's pulling her strings

Age doesn't matter so much when you have your  daddy to guide you. The headline tries to dismiss the obvious pretending to be ignorant.

In Thailand,  age does matter.  ( in opposite way to what you think  )

Opposition   Move Forward Party        Pita  age 42.

The new Opposition People's Party leader   age 38

Yingluck  PM at age 43

the new PM  at age 37.

Unlike even their neighbors  Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia,  Thai public concern  more about Youth than experience for politicians and contempt on oldies in politics.    Whatever the reason,  I don't really know

Age is at least a major factor that Pheu Thai party picked this young lady rather than a 75-year old and unhealthy alternate.

Untouchable, no, there's only one untouchable in the Kingdom, and it ain't Thaksin.

OK, give him 2nd and Boss (Red Bull) 3rd.

Two days ago, the situation appeared bleak or at least very bad,  not terrible as the period 2011-Nat 2014.

Thinking further,  the situation appeared uncertain as of the current state.

As to someone rising to the top position due to FAMILY name,  it is not just her,  there had been other example in recent time.

Canada Justin Trudeau who had been a part time teacher and became Canada PM In 2015 due to father P. Trudeau connection dated to 1970's.

In Singapore,  Prime Minister Lee Jr  had the benefit of the right family name too due to his father,  the founder of Singapore.

if you remember - he has a 112 charge hanging over him. Who s got who by the short and curlies?

There are enough outstanding warrents covering political corruption, over the past 20 years, to tie the courts up for a century. Gee, they haven't touched the olde, tied Minister for "Watches and all things Corrupt" yet!

If I remember right when Thaksin was PM, his maid at the time was the third richest person in Thailand, he pays his staff well.

Yeah, I forgot to include the maid, but it was all a big mistake.

I hope she dumps the 10,000 baht giveaway but promises to use the money to improve rural development and education.

We can all dream.

It seems that Word Salad Kamala and Paetongtarn have a lot in common. Both are inept and being controlled by those really in control. This cannot be good for Thailand or the United States.
