Harris/Walz. But, as you say the nation is on a slow, steady decline. Has been for a few decades now. So, it barely matters. However, I think Trump would be more destructive, overall. He is poorly equipped for the job, and the real irony of his whole persona, is that he cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag, much less negotiate a treaty with an adversary, which makes him very dangerous.

US was ok pre 2000. Bush wars. Obama talking too much. Biden no idea. Harris will be worse, both wars and no idea. Trump was the only good one.

Nah. You have a lot of problems over there that will not be fixed by either Trump or Harris.
I don’t think America will ever be great again, it is a sinking ship, too divided on race, religion and politics. Massive debt and drug issues, homeless.

About one third of you hates another one third sadly.

who are you voting for?

Yes, America may be in the decline but it can be fixed with maintenance.

America is still better than other countries, UK in particular. UK got invaded despite it being an Island protected by the ocean. You guys are on the brink of a civil war.

Your government also locks people up for posting memes on X.

The state of California's GDP out performs the entire UK and the UK has twice as many people.

America sh*** on the UK

I am a bit confused, Andre. You state (and I agree with) that others on the right have not come forward to offer themselves as representatives of the right … and yet condemn the left for destroying America? Appears to me, you are correct in citing the refusal of others to step forward as the result of having Trump. Then again, the Republican Party was offering other attempted candidates (Haley comes to mind). Without either Biden nor Trump it certainly would be a far different election.

Well, the US is living through a very confusing era.

As a representative of the Democratic party, America is choosing Trump. As a representative of the Democratic party, the US is still choosing Biden-Harris.

Just the way it is, in a very stupid election process.

When will the electorate be offered 2 candidates on the Republican side, and two candidates on the Democratic side. Oh when. Two candidates, with somewhat different views of how the US should be governed, both on the Democratic views, and the Republican side.

When a citizen of the US does not like the candidate presented on the Democratic side, the only alternative available is to vote for a candidate on the Republican side, having a totally different view of how to govern.  And conversely. Very stupid.

And the US is now being offered one candidate for each side of the spectrum, and the electorate nearly equally dislike the two of them.

Now make a choice....

The great men, must be some in a population of about 250 million adults, are nowhere to be found. Certainly opted for a job more rewarding, and with better pay.

There are no better interested and interesting candidates to be presented.

So let's stop complaining. Most voters who do not like either candidate, take their dislike from reasons other than political views. Ad hominem it is...

The right is right. Politics wise. So then the choice between the lesser of two evils becomes easy.

Very funny, if it were not reflective of so much ignorance. Please do keep pounding on this as those of us demanding control over our own healthcare needs not be subject to you making these decisions for us. Those states with this decision being placed on the ballot in November will overwhelmingly reject your very limited outlook on the subject as expressed in your post.

You believe in unrestricted late term abortions of viable babies?

The end result of the Republican Party’s, Trump and McConnell (R-KY) arranging the current SCOTUS which declared the 50 year old Constitutional Right over this personal healthcare need to be reversed. An action that will live in infamy.

Show us the clause in the US constituion where infanticide or even abortion is mentioned.

Unfortunately, the law does not support your assertion.

5 th biggest economy in the world , your delusional

Yeah, California is the 5th largest economy in the world, and everything is great there for the rich, but for the poor, not so much:

In early 2023, 31.1% of residents were poor or near poor (with resources up to one and a half times the CPM poverty line), up from 28.7% in fall 2021.

Every January, the federal government conducts a “point-in-time” (PIT) count of the nation’s homeless population on a single night; this count is imperfect, but it is one of the few measures of sheltered and unsheltered homelessness. The 2023 PIT count released in December estimated that more than 180,000 people were experiencing homelessness in our state—up 6% from the previous count.

Prominent Republicans that come out publicly for Trump are often destroyed, or at least ostracized.

Prominent Republicans that come out against Trump are often celebrated and are quoted and or invited to comment in the MSM and rewarded handsomely for it.

For example, George Will, Peggy Noonan, Bill Kristol, Mitt Romney, Michael Steele.

Because it disproportionally hurts the poor, and when the poor can no longer afford to drive, there's less traffic and better parking for the rich.

How can you not like Trump after all he has done for Americans. When re-elected he will stop all these useless wars and bring peace back to the world. The clowns running the US now have no idea the damage they are doing, not only to the US but the world. If this election is rigged again there will be much bloodshed and it will be the end of the USA. Then who will you go to for help when Russia and China take over your country? God bless Trump and the US! Long live Thailand!

The last election wasn't rigged. Only fools feel for the big lie.
