Community Anthrax Death Reported in Mukdahan Province
Nothing wrong with being cautious and asking questions. Looking at the picture, yes some form of biosafety protocols were followed, hence protective suits, gloves and I would assume masks. A crematorium primarily uses dry heat, using hot air and flames, and normally needs temperatures greater than 760°C, to incinerate a human body. To destroy anthrax spores it is recommended in laboratories, 160°C for at least 2 hours, or 170°C for at least 1 hour, so these temperatures will be exceeded in the cremation process. The greater risk here from anthrax spores, was before cremation, at autopsy, sample taking and testing. I also would assume no embalming took place to reduce exposure risks. -

Number of Days / Hours Taught at Schools in Thailand
I understand that according to the Thai MoE, the minimum number of teaching hours in Thai schools (IB and International may have different regulations I am not sure) is 1,000 hours for primary and 1,200 hours for secondary schools. This covers the core subjects, student development activities, and electives. However, provided this criteria is met it seems that the number of actual days taught can vary greatly from school to school. I have heard of some schools having just 177 days of teaching whilst most Thai government schools have 200. I was wondering if others could share the number of days being taught at their schools along with the number of hours per day to get some sort of overview. If I am wrong about anything, please feel free to correct / inform me. Thanks in advance. -

Visa Cancellation for ED Visa
We are not talking about marriage visas or extensions, we are talking about education extensions. They have their own set of rules. Though your friend was technically on overstay from the moment his divorce was finalized. -

Accident Another Rama II Incident: Driver Injured as Large Concrete Slab Falls onto Pickup Truck
As always they think about maintenance after any accidents, never before and 2nd they should sue the hospital as well and they obviously need more emergency training. Sht happened and for one reason or the other, and maybe both, the poor man lost his life. Thailand is looking more and more like a place to be wary of rather than being a safe and welcoming place. -

Economy Experts Urge Thailand to Scrap Tiered Cigarette Tax
They don't want to tax the vapes. This is about stopping people from vaping because that would lead to less cigarettes being purchased.
