So Trump did not pull out. He agreed to debate on the agreed date. However, ABC and the Dems have given up the shameless demand  that the rules be changed to favour Harris.  I suppose this was  master class in the art of negotiation for Harrisworld and ABC.

Given the exceedingly low bar set by Trump's press conferences in the comfort of his homes, she will do well. Trump's press conferences really has very little substance in terms of defining his policies but chokefull of personal attacks, falsehoods free-wheeling manner in a rather low energy delivery. 

 

Both appearing in the interview have the appearance of working as a cohesive team that you probably don't expect from the Trump team. Trump will not like to be upstaged by Vance.

Which is quite interesting, isn't it, so Harris does not think she is doing so well that she can skip the debate. IMHO Trump never intended to pull out of the debate. He just threatened it so Harris don't get their demand to change the rules.

 

Classic art of negotiation, walk away if you don't get what you want. It worked, as usual.
