Chinese man accuses Thai wife of fleeing with lover and 100m baht in assets
In 1987 I was having troubles in my second marriage, in San Diego. The wife and I lived separately. As we were trying to work things out, she stopped by one afternoon to talk. I said " Hey, ya wanna give me a ride to Linda Vista?" She says okay. Twenty minutes later we pull into a parking lot. She reads the sign on the building and says "What are we doing at Planned Parenthood?" I said "I'm getting a vasectomy. I'll see ya in an hour". Yep, I knew that would finish the fiasco. -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
I see the number differently. The 300,000 Western foreigners comprises 170,000 working expats on WP's, according to the 2019 UN migration report, those people earn money inside the country and pay tax on it. The remainder are retired or long stay expats who remit money here from overseas. 130,000 x 65k month. / 35 baht per USD = 241 bill or 5% of GDP, I think that's very small in the bigger picture of things. -

Cardiac and Neurological Complications Post COVID-19 Vaccination: A Systematic Review
A group of leading Malaysian scientists is calling for everyone who received Covid vaccines to be placed under medical monitoring after a major study linked the injections to the global surge in sudden deaths. The study was led by medical microbiologist Professor Kai Wei Lee at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The team, which also included scientists from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in Malaysia, sought to identify the cause of “a spectrum of cardiac and neurological disorders was reported among vaccinated individuals” “following mass vaccinations for the control of the COVID-19 epidemic.” The study’s paper was published in the National Library of Medicine [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC11209191/ ]. The systematic review study analyzed case reports and case series from three medical literature databases. = = = -

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
Whatever, this is becoming trite. As I stated before I didn't know that Toyota made and EV. I also stated I have never seen one on the roads. Your above data explains why. About a whopping 1% of Toyotas sold are EVs. 1% might seem substantial for you but to me it seems quite tiny. No big deal and just a disagreement of sorts. Cheers -

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
The Consumer Protection Board joins the program "People's Station" on the topic: Complain to the Consumer Protection Board about buying an electric car that is not as advertised! The discussion was about complaints from EV users complaining about purchasing cars that did not comply with advertisements and sales contracts. The users said that in the past, the car had problems with unstable batteries, not storing electricity, air compressors not working, and ABS brakes not working. The company also announced that charging stations that the company said could be charged for free, but currently, a service fee must be paid and the charging stations are closed, service centers, and broken cabinets. The consumers met with the company to discuss the problems and ask the company to take the cars back. https://www.ocpb.go.th/news_view.php?nid=15454 -

Sure, when you are on a low hourly rate, as are so many American workers who are compelled to work overtime to pay their costs.
