If a dog bites people twice, it should be put down. If it kills someone it should be taken out within 24 hours and the family who owns the dog should serve time in jail and be heavily fined. There should be a zero tolerance policy for wild, out of control beasts and their ridiculous owners. There is no room for them in this world. None.

Another "breed" that kills a lot more people and other animals than pit bulls is humans. Would you suggest we "sweep the world and eliminate and execute every single one of them" also? But, of course, we (humans) are in the process of doing that already with our continual destruction of the Earth's environment. Pit bulls are an insignificant problem compared to that.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had been home alone the previous night. CCTV footage captured him playing with the three American Bully dogs, approximately two years old, around 20:00. The dogs belonged to his older brother, who had brought them back from Bangkok about a week ago. At some point, the dogs turned aggressive and began attacking the young man. He attempted to flee from the second floor, but the dogs pursued him into the bedroom, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The dogs were still present in the bedroom when his family discovered the body.

 

The authorities have sent the body to Phra Narai Hospital for a post-mortem examination. They are continuing their investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, and appropriate legal actions will be taken.

As repetition to my earlier statements; in Northeastern Indochina dogs, among other canine, are on the menu like pork, chicken or beef. A novelty though seems to be "dog meat balls" or - adequately translated into the local lingua "ลูกชิ้นหมา".

I've worked with rescue dogs as a personal hobby for decades.  I've sadly seen too many abused dogs.  

Dogs always feel better as part of a pack, whether human or dog.  One has to (sometimes carefully) include them into your "pack" so that dogs know they belong.  Once part of a pack, a dog accepts it position in the hierarchy and doesn't question if it is below humans. 

It is this lack of understanding how to train dogs and how to socialize them that causes problems, like this case where the elder brother has 3 bully XLs.

I doubt that he knew anything on how to train a dog, and having 3 is a sign that he enjoys frightening people.  Probably treated these dogs as weapons and the dogs obliged.

Sorry Brother, maybe let the dogs attack you in a locked room.

 

1st, research dog breeds to see if it's a good breed for your family and condo, or house.

 

2nd, go visit someone selling the dog and spend time with it. Also spend time with another breed you like.

 

3rd, Save and make sure you understand the cost of ownership (vet bills, training?, proper food (not just Rice), your time to spend playing with and caring for the dog (bathing)

 

About Pitbulls, in South Florida some owners want the Image of being Tough, and projecting fear, or intimidating others.  Miami has banned Pitbulls from the City.  The Breed has been Proven to be a breed that Requires a knowledgeable, experienced, capable and Reasonable person who will ask first Is there another Breed that will fulfill my needs that is less Risky?

 

Why did the Brother buy 3 three Pitbulls, why not 3 Siberian Huskies, 3 baby Soi Dogs, 3 of Any other Breed that is a lower risk of permanent, possibly fatal injury to people.?

This is taken right out from the empty air that you breed. You are totally uninformed. Of course there are 1000s of well behaved and trained lovable dogs out there. Unfortunately, I think you are wrong regarding their opinion about me. As they can train their dogs and take care of them, they must be smart enough to see the facts as well. So, with the comment you posted above, it´s time for your education.

First we take a look at the image here: 

If it is like you say, then the most bad people who can´t take care of their dogs are owners of one of these breeds. We can take away everything from Husky and below, as they are fairly ok. However, both you and me and most other people knows that is not the whole truth. It can´t be, right?

So, all the mostly banned and forbidden dogs, also stands for a big chuck of costs that makes it more expensive for regular dog owners to pay for insurance.

There is also one reason why I posted that the owner might as well be put down together with the crazy dogs. That reason is the owner in 70-80% of times is a criminal, as they are the only ones stupid enough to believe it´s tough to walk with killing machines.

You can try to state:  Most dog bites, 70% comes from males, who aren’t neutered. Sure, let´s say that it´s true, which would support your claim of owners who do not take care of their dogs, right. Now, you only have to explain why that is almost only connected to pit bull-style dogs? Doesn´t compute, right?

In December 2017 Bethany Stephens, 22, took her two pitbulls on a walk in the Virginia woods near her childhood home. She never returned. The dogs killed her. When first responders found her the dogs were guarding the corpse, appearing confused.

 

You are the dog expert. Why did this happen?

 

One article I read said they may have seen a bird or squirrel, and this excited a prey drive.

 

Maybe she held them back and they decided to savage Bethany to death instead.

Thais are often not responsible dog owners. On the soi I live on there is a chunky Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and it's semi-wild, they allow it to be aggressive to those off their territory. I can see a problem in the future with the dog, Someone will probably end up having to hurt it. Last year I lived in a moo-baan where one guy would tie his dog up overnight while he went to work and by the morning  the dog would be barking like crazy. Other instances over the years... 

 

They don't seem to have a rapport with dogs the same way Europeans do which makes sense as they don't have the same history of using them for farming and security. Even early this century dogs were rarely pets and just part of the wildlife.

These dogs were American Bullys. Yet everyone on the thread is talking about PitBulls. So much ignorance I really shake my head sometimes.

 

Look at the snout, the body type, the mouth, the legs. Looks nothing like a "PitBull" (assuming people using that broad term mean American PitBull Terrier) to anyone with a modicum of knowledge about the breed. 

 

 

When you classify multiple different breeds of dog as a PitBull it's no wonder the stats look high. It's like blaming BMW's for accidents every time a German car crashes. Ignorance.
