Thailand Ex-Deputy PM Faces New Money Laundering Allegations
Prompong Nopparit has lodged a fresh anti-money laundering complaint against Thailand's former Deputy Prime Minister, Prawit Wongsuwon. The complaint follows the release of a controversial audio recording by Inside Thailand TV, suggesting a money repayment demand linked to Prawit. The recording, which aired on September 11, features a voice resembling Prawit's, asking about overdue money. They have also been clear that they intend to go after any Jew, regardless of whether they're Israeli or not. So why is it that they're not allowed to be targeted? Not really extreme when you remember this is Thailand where a dogs life has more value than a Thais life. I wonder when the government will wake up to this problem with uncontrollable dogs. There have been some feeble attempts through the years. Then nothing. And several times a year people are either killed by a dog or by the people because of the dogs. Nothing ever changes. I have a big Doberman. But he only barks when another dog gets near the house or a stranger. And is easily quieted by a simple command. Needless to say, even the pizza delivery man is afraid to get near my house and calls from down the street.. haha.. But then my dog is almost 50kg. All muscle. -
