Former US Soldier, 82, Assaulted by Drunk Thai Man in Pattaya Park

It didn't help him to be a "former soldier".

Jogging in a youth park at night ... aren't there other locations to pick up young men?

Oh those u.s. americans ... 🤦🏼‍♂️

(it will be funny to read all the incoming comments from gay, u.s. american ex-soldiers ... 5555. But I won't reply anyway.)

Perhaps to indicate that he is a disciplined active physically  fit gentleman?

Sure, an office clerk can't have those attributes 😂. He's apparently not disciplined but creating chaos on his desk and don't do anything to give his spine a relief. You're funny🤗

Who are you talking to?

"Those leaving comments here who are condemning this guy for running without a shirt"

Do I need to explain every post to you?

For goodness sake.

This is Thailand, not New York.

My wife and I NEVER felt threatened in Thailand. At any time, day or night.

Not anymore...

Jogging after dark 10pm is asking for trouble

Can non shirt people start wearing shirts please, thank you, that probably incensed the thai man

But tik tok creators say Thailand is safe... I guess they not go far from their hotel rooms.

Amazing how many people that it's perfectly acceptable to jog without a shirt.  Bare-chested is solely for the beach, not the beach promenade, not the park, not the shopping centre.  Still, there are 'bogans' on many forums......

Im suprised he can still run at 82😮

I'm 80 yo, a former marathon runner but now I'm restricted to a 90 minutes walk daily. I only walk at 6.30 am because in the dark I'm prone to prowling dogs and morons on motor bikes. I've never had any trouble with other people and around 20 people say good morning to me every morning. Is Pattaya Park a known area for gay men especially wearing no shirt. Just a thought.

It's actually better to not wear a shirt. A cotton shirt stays wet in a humid climate, with no shirt the sweat can evaporate off your body.

Well he is 82,so doesn't matter does it ,he got to 82 with no shirt

Good thinking Jim 😃

It is considered a dangerous area after dark

Locals all know that. Not blaming him though.

Can be dangerous anywhere

Try walking street at 3am

I call BS.

Most of Pattaya is safe at night.

A dark wooded area like that park isn't.

I'm sure the victim knew that.

He took the risk.

Why it's mentioned he's a former soldier?

Is this important,? NO.

Would it be mentioned if he's an office clerk? NO.

Is there an explanation?

You wouldnt know... It's a Veteran thing......🙄
