Second Assassination Attempt-Secret Service get Trump to safety

Donald Trump survived a second assassination attempt on Sunday when a gunman armed with an assault rifle was spotted near the former president’s golf course.

 

A Secret Service agent opened fire on the man while Trump was playing at Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, prompting the suspect to flee.

 

The man, in his 50s, was later apprehended by the West Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office following a traffic stop on I-95.

 

After the incident, Trump issued a defiant statement. "There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors spiral out of control, I want you to hear it first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!" he wrote in a campaign message to reassure supporters.

I can smell the fear and desperation from here. 
Hilarious candidate  said  “ hanging from a noose” ( I think was the terms she used) to describe him winning the last time. 
 But he won, people seemed to like lower energy prices, safe streets and lower cost of living, so it looks like they will vote for him again, but the (Likely Obama Run) Shadow government is now in full combat mode to protect their war machine, you know, the one the bad man says he’s going to get rid of!

Apart from Simple1 comment that attempt is alleged until proven in a court of law, the so-called attempt amounted to planning an assassination and never got to the actual firing a weapon at Trump. As its legal in Florida to open carry any gun, prosecution will have to prove "intent to attack Trump".

Until more is known about the alleged attacker, motivation for the alleged attack plan may actually come from a radical right who is angry that Trump apparently will not win the election because of his own political failures and bring an end to Project 2025, bring to an end nationalists' hopes of a Putin-styled dictatorship.
