Assassination Attempt on Contractor in Trang
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. An incident on the evening of September 20, a construction contractor narrowly escaped death after being ambushed and shot at multiple times. The victim, 43-year-old Mr. Sitthikorn, was targeted while parked in his BMW X3 outside his home in Trang province. According to reports, the assailant approached on a motorcycle disguised as a food delivery rider, complete with a raincoat and a food delivery bag. As Mr. Sitthikorn’s wife exited the vehicle to open the gate, the gunman pulled up beside the driver's door and opened fire. He was hit once in the right arm but survived the ordeal. Police from the Crime Suppression Division and local authorities have launched a manhunt for the shooter. Investigators are examining nearby surveillance footage, although the cameras at the scene malfunctioned. Witnesses reported that the attack lasted only 15-45 seconds before the shooter fled the scene towards the city center. Mr. Sitthikorn's mother-in-law described him as a good man, emphasising his dedication to family and work. She recounted that the couple had just attended a relative's funeral before returning home when the attack occurred. Eyewitness accounts suggest that the gunman had been surveilling the area prior to the attack. Authorities suspect that the suspect had been planning the shooting for some time, raising concerns about a possible contract killing. Investigations are ongoing, and police plan to conduct further interviews with Mr. Sitthikorn after he recovers from surgery. -- 2024-09-22 -

Violent End to Gathering: Man Shoots Two in Pathum Thani
Picture from responders. What began as a casual drinking session on September 21, turned into a nightmare in Pathum Thani, when a man, intoxicated and angered by a disagreement, pulled a gun and shot two friends, leaving them injured. The shooter was later apprehended by police in a tense standoff while under the influence of alcohol. Police Lieutenant Sak Sit Boonrub, deputy investigator at Lat Lum Kaeo Police Station, received an emergency call from officials at Khlong Phra Udom Health Station. Two injured individuals, a man and a woman, had been rushed to the health centre by relatives following a shooting. Emergency medical responders coordinated with local rescue services to transfer the victims to Pathum Thani Hospital for further treatment. Upon arrival, authorities found the victims: a man in his 30s who had sustained a gunshot wound beneath his right ribcage, and a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound to her left upper arm. Both are Myanmar nationals. Preliminary investigations revealed that the two were drinking with friends at a residence in Khlong Phra Udom, Lat Lum Kaeo District, when an argument broke out with a 35-year-old Myanmar man, identified only as "Mr. Jo." In a fit of rage, Jo retrieved a firearm and shot the two victims before fleeing to hide in a nearby room. Police surrounded the area and apprehending Jo, who was found heavily intoxicated and in possession of the firearm. He was immediately taken into custody and will face charges related to the shooting. The victims are receiving emergency care, and police are continuing their investigation as they prepare to charge the suspect. -- 2024-09-22 -

The MSM fact checking anybody is a joke. You do know they will say anything, truth or not, as they are in the pocket of the Democrats.- 1

Security Guard Causes Chaos Threatening Bomb at Gas Station
Picture courtesy of Khaosod. In a bizarre incident on the morning of September 21, a 37-year-old security guard caused panic at a PTT gas station in Chaiyaphum by claiming he had an explosive device. The man, identified as Mr. Sarayut, reportedly threatened to detonate a homemade bomb while sitting on a motorcycle near the restroom area. At around 10:30, local police were alerted to the disturbance at a convenience store located within the gas station. Witnesses reported that Mr. Sarayut claimed to be in possession of an improvised explosive device (IED). Employees quickly contacted authorities as the situation escalated. Police, along with an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit, arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area to ensure public safety. Despite thorough inspections, no explosive devices were found. Instead, officers discovered 15 methamphetamine pills and drug paraphernalia hidden in a plastic bag under the motorcycle seat. Witnesses described Mr. Sarayut as disoriented and unable to communicate coherently, repeatedly mentioning the supposed bomb. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the local police station for further questioning. Authorities believe the man's erratic behaviour was the result of drug use, specifically methamphetamine, which he appeared to be under at the time. Mr. Sarayut will face multiple charges, including possession of illegal drugs, drug use, and causing public disorder. -- 2024-09-22 -

Is Civil Unrest Inevitable If Trump Loses?
I think worry about social unrest if Trump loses is the kind of fear that Trump and his hardened supporters would like people to have. But it will turn out to be nothing. A few small protests at best, but nothing on the scale of what Trump would like for people to believe. The majority of American voters aren't violent. Only the ones who have been radicalized. And everyone saw what happened to the proud boys and oath keepers after the Jan 6 riot and those fundamentalist types are probably less willing to try their luck now. There have been a number of recent events where Trump asked his base to come out and protest to show their support for him and yet barely anybody ever turned up. The New York courtroom trials are a perfect example of this. Lastly, the National Guard will be very much on standby and high alert after the election if Trump loses. And they will be ready to take decisive action if anything escalates. If there are any small, armed, militias after the election then they will end up learning things the hard way. In my view, it would be foolish for the average American to try and do anything violent after the election in support of a Trump loss given the above. Anything is of course possible, but certainly not worth sitting around and worrying about. The odds are stacked against it. -

Krabi mother scammed twice while trying to bail out son
You two may have different ideas of what "educated" means. There's a difference between being brainwashed with propaganda, bringing one to conform with and echo the desired narrative, and being educated by training in various subjects in school to develop critical thinking, reasoning skills, and a broad understanding of the world, leading to not only possessing factual knowledge but also to the ability to think analytically, adapt to new information, and apply understanding to solve problems or make informed decisions. Anyone familiar with the so-called "education" in America these days, knows who controls the narrative produced from the universities. There are a number of studies that show that the universities are controlled/run (administration and faculty) by an incredibly disproportionate number of those who lean in the progressive leftist and Marxist direction... as in 80-90+% (much like most of the mainline mass media in the US). So, being "educated" can mean two VERY different things. In the end, this is pretty irrelevant to the situation with this apparently ignorant ("uneducated") woman. The state of so many people here in Thailand is such that they are extremely easy to manipulate. So, intelligent, conniving people, who lack any decent moral fiber and have resources, can make headway like they'd never be able to among a more "educated" populace. Witness politics and the judiciary....🥴 It's sad to see people who are working hard and in difficult life situations, like this lady, get caught up in the tangled web that surrounds them. At the same time, it can also be easy to say that it's of their own doing. Life is complicated and the "uneducated" are so often left in the rubble of the complications, particularly when such a large mass of society is so self-absorbed that rarely is anything done about it. But reporting on it for rubberneckers to gawk and exclaim, blah blah blah, is about as far as it goes. I guess it makes them feel better, as if they're doing something about it by putting it in print.- 1

should educate yourslef Have to seen behind the scenes footage of what happened that day where the police opened the doors of the Capitol building and let people in? The guy with the horns was given a guided tour around the building by more than 10 police officers and then sat in one of the rooms and prayed. He got four years I think. Jan 6th was an entrapment exercise and there were many FBI CHS's (Confidential Human Sources) in the crowd to stir up trouble. You should educate yourself about what really went on.
