A Blitz Is Needed For Pattaya Tour Buses.

Hi there, Pattaya, especially the Naklua Road area has become taken over by tour buses. They show no regards to anyone. They park where it's no parking, even blocking off full lanes on major roads and they break every road law in the book. Many drive at around 80 kms/hr where the whole area is very well marked as 40 kms/hr. They ignore stop signs, they overtake over double lines, even cut corners making right hand turns. They are on the wrong side of the road and they no idea what's coming the other way, they probably don't care. They drive with the Thai motor bike riders mentality. One day there's going to be a major accident caused directly by these reckless drivers.

No point in getting yourself all upset over the coaches. Though they are a dangerous annoyance. That's why I changed it to something more useful to you 😊

Already have been many times...they are reckless because they think they are invincible due to their greater size  and often that is true  they escape major injury whist inflicting devastation on the smaller road users.

I lived in Hawaii for almost 20 years.  The Gray Line tour busses were always a major annoyance in Waikiki.  Now, after over 15 years in Pattaya/Jomtien, I can honestly say the tour bus situation here is approaching world class annoyance levels.

I totally agree LA Less, where I walk on my way back to my condo the tour buses are always illegally parked blocking off one lane of traffic in Naklua Road. Also the passengers stand in a mob in the middle of the foot path with their luggage. So I have to brave it and walk along the road. Naklua Road can be a very dangerous road, especially when the cretins  on motor bikes go speeding down the hill towards the Dolphin Roundabout.

mate, it's thailand, it's thai road users, sorry to say, but what do you expect? (for balance, other, non-thai, road users can be idiots too)

Yep I even noticed tourists and expats riding motorbikes like there in the last race of there life, no helmets, bullet proof, ignorant to everything else.
