King Charles: Australia's Future as a Republic Rests with Its People
Personally attacking me is argument ad hominem. It means you have run out of options for honest argument. I suggest you read "Straight and Crooked Thinking" by R H Thouless, to understand your dishonesty. While you are about it, read " Monash -the Outsider who Won the War" by Roland Perry. It details how the British establishment , including Haig, never acknowledged Monash's role in ending WW1 - because he was Jewish. You are obviously a snob cut from the same cloth. Your comment about my intelligence and education is so far off the mark to be laughable. How many scholarships were you awarded on your way through primary, secondary and tertiary education? I had three. Here's an anecdote from direct experience - the vice-regal Governor of Victoria, Sir Dallas Brooks. An avid golfer, he was described by a fawning local media as a top Victorian golfer. Which was total bullsh!t - he'd be lucky to achieve a single figure handicap, from what I saw as his caddie on a few occasions. To me, gullibility is people accepting the carefully curated image of royalty, when they eat, sh!t and <deleted> just like anyone else. Hopefully, when the current occupant of the throne carks it, Australians will grow up and shed an outmoded and superfluous institution. -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
This might be all true! It is your opinion! Your list to in my opinion and I've not decided to vote this time or not. but your reasoning is why voters have gravitated to a person like Trump! No one likes to be called those names and the tone in which it is presented! Call him what you want but name calling like coming from Obama " Hillbilly's clinging to their guns " Clinton " Deporable " If one doesn't like the person personally or don't like their policies, just do what we are all taught, smart or stupid make a pro or con list to the policies and vote. Name calling insults aren't going to get more vote for one's side. -

Expats in Thailand urged not to worry about negative income tax
Similar in the UK. The number of people claiming benefits, who have never worked and never intend to, are better off than the person on minimum wages. -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
The American working middle class, upon whom any hope of a participatory democracy depends, has justified pent up frustration/anger (oh, I include myself here). I attribute this to the underlying documented economic squeeze occurring over the past decades up to the present. We have an unsustainable income/wealth gap exacerbating the issue. This is the result of the policies, actions/inactions of both major political parties. Compromise may be a necessity but when it results in the issues not being addressed ... well, here we are ... The average American citizen (again the working middle class), is frustrated to the point of being likened to clawing and fighting to get out of the wet paper bag. Which does point to an emotional reaction rather than using any critical thinking applied to the current situation. Trump has a well documented history demonstrating that he certainly is not the answer but ... but Trump is giving voice to the frustration/anger (thus a politically dangerous time as citizens, not thinking, turn to an authoritarian leaning leader to "get things done"). Does the average American citizen have the capability to comprehend this? Sadly, I must conclude I see a lack of evidence. OK, my two satang's worth ... -

Kamala Harris Defends Policy Stance in Heated Fox News Interview
i very much doubt she had any choice in the matter, she was selected by Pelosi, Schumer etc, she does what she is told. Harris did this 1 interview that was 'hostile', IE: asked questions that should be asked. every other interview she has done has been softball or a fluffing show. -

If Trump is re-elected what does it say about the I.Q of the average American?
Old, yes, but not apparently a problem any more. Fruitcake, no, just a wide ranging taste in music, ranging from "Ave Maria, to Pavarotti to Village People - a taste he chose to spend 39 minutes indulging at a recent "town hall meeting" - well it makes a change from answering questions on policies, and is probably preferable (I'm not so sure about the YMCA bit) to listening to burbling ramblings on race, polluting genes, eating cats and dogs and the rest! Dictator - in his own words, that starts the day after he is inaugurated, and of course he is going to do his actual level best to ensure that he is inaugurated, no matter what the electorate say. There is of course a widely reported well documented programme prepared and ready to go to ensure that such a dictatorship will hit the ground running , not that Trump knows anything about that of course; and the thought of the "orange Jesus" running is both hard to imagine and deeply disturbing!- 1

Kamala Harris Defends Policy Stance in Heated Fox News Interview
1. She discussed. Didn't actually detail. 2. I was wrong. She mentioned Trump 24 times. Check the transcript. https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/kamala-harris-interview-on-fox-news 3. 21:30 mark in the interview. Baier asks about Biden. Harris deflects by saying that Biden is not on the ballot, then deflects again to Trump. Never answers about Biden's mental decline. 4. At 16:00 minutes Baier asks about "turning the page". Harris goes straight to "turn the page from Donald Trump's rhetoric". Baier says she has been in office nearly 4 years, she again deflects to Trump. 5. Twenty four times. 6. First question was "how many illegals have crossed?" She never gave a number, never answered. She deflects to the usual pablum of "we have a broken immigration system....." and ignores the follow up about why her administration immediately reversed all of Trump's executive orders on border security. Anything else? -

Trump – running for president at 78 – says ‘only stupid people put old’ people in top gov't
Right. The thread is about trump's age, you deflect about biden. And when called out about your deflection you complain about deflecting.- 1
