As I have to wait another 2 months to season my 800k, I keep reading through the eVisa  website. Now I  have more questions that need to be clarified!

What exactly do they mean by #5, #6, #7 (#6 & #7 refers to the same insurance policy?)

Non-IMM O is under Other Visas "Retirement (pensioner aged 50 or above with state pension who wishes to stay in Thailand for no longer than 90 days)"   1. Don't worry about the "State Pensio

  • Immigration is not involved with issuing e-visas.  The local embassy is.  I used a self-downloaded Kasikorn bank statement for my O-eVisa, no problems.

  • Sorry, I was not clear on this, my bad. Yes, the above is for the non O-A - I just wanted to know what I will have to do in the future.   Thank you Pattaya57  for this - You don't have

Are you sure you're not reading the Non-IMM OA requirements as Medical Certificates / Health Insurance / Police clearance checks aren't normally required for a Non-IMM O

You don't have to wait 2 months to season your 800k. To get the non-imm O you just need to have the 800k (or equivalent) deposited. You need the 2 months seeding to apply for the 12 month extension once you're in Thailand.

As said above, you are quoting non-imm O-A visa which no-one has reccomended to you here (or even talked about) due to medical, police clearance and health insure that is not required by the non-imm O

Indeed....

And for anyone confused about insurance requirement for a non O-A be aware that this is a requirement for ongoing annual extensions.

Such a good visa prior to insurance requirement being added.

I am very happy that I decided to start this thread.

All of you have really made it very clear to me. Thank you ALL.

  • 4 months later...

Here's something that might surprise people..... it certainly surprised me!

I applied for the Non-O Vise on basis of retirement in AUS via the official eVisa website last Friday at 1942hrs . The time is now 1202 Monday and it has just been emailed to me.

Can't complain about that!

It was quite a simple and easy process once I had all the documents in order - just a few click, drags & drops and done in less than 15mins.

Took 3 days for me here in Denmark, can't complain either 🤗
