Trump’s Inauguration: A Gathering of Global Far-Right Leaders
Another flip-flop - money before the American People. "As a candidate, Donald Trump enjoyed pillorying the globalists. “We will no longer surrender this country, or its people, to the false song of globalism,” he said in his first major speech on foreign policy in April 2016." by John Feffer, Jan. 31, 2018 "Big Surprise: Rich Globalists Love Trump," https://fpif.org -

Roti rebellion: Thai police rescue Burmese teenager from trafficking
Unfortunately this happens a lot, the family who are probably destitute and not that well educated are feed a load of nonsense / promises etc as to how they are their son will be so better-off - they will find him a well-paying job with great conditions etc, here's Bht 10,000 in advance. Those who organised it should be removed from the air supply and the ar$eholes who exploited with should be named and shamed and locked up and treated the same way. But being Thailand mai bpen rai . -

Talking to Thais, have you ever had "Pow Wow" moments?
I don't think using the word PowWow is racist. The American Indians still hold Powwows. The term powwow, derives from the Algonquian Indian word pau wau, which means "he dreams." In this definition, pau wau had a personal, reverent, religious significance. Contrasting with this definition, the contemporary powwow is usually open to the public and is a group-oriented social event. The concept of powwow originated among the tribes that inhabited the Great Plains from the southern prairies of Canada to the lower plains of Texas. In the prereservation era many Plains Indian tribes formed intertribal alliances. These alliances allowed tribe-specific songs, dances, and ceremonies to be exchanged. This is the historical foundation for today's "intertribal powwow." https://www.okhistory.org/publications/enc/entry?entry=PO030
