Popular Post Georgealbert
An incident occurred on the morning of November 4, when a car crashed through a parking lot wall and plunged from a condominium in the Pinklao area, startling residents, but only causing minor injuries to the driver. The incident at approximately 11:15 prompted an immediate response from local rescue services. Witnesses recounted seeing the vehicle suddenly accelerate and smash through the parking lot barrier wall on the 3rd floor, before plummeting down to the ground below. Photos shared by residents of the condominium show the vehicle’s wreckage lying on its roof, surrounded by debris from the broken wall. The impact left a significant hole in the concrete wall, highlighting the force of the collision. The driver, identified as Mr. Sumet, 69 years old, sustained minor injuries and was quickly attended to by emergency responders. He was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment. Officials have yet to determine the exact cause of the accident, though initial reports suggest that the driver may have accidentally accelerated while navigating the parking structure. An investigation is underway to assess whether mechanical failure or other factors contributed to the incident. This unusual accident has sparked discussions on social media about the safety of parking facilities in high-rise condominiums and the importance of protective barriers. Condominium management has pledged to review safety measures and work with authorities to ensure that similar incidents are prevented in the future. Authorities announced that they will conduct a full inspection of the parking area and ensure the implementation any necessary repairs and reinforcements. The condominium management has assured residents that safety remains their priority and that they are cooperating fully with investigators. Look at the barrier wall on the floor above it. It ends with a large gap with no barrier wall. Safety is their priority???

Which is why I think everyone should learn to drive, and pass a test driving a manual transmission car. It teaches you coordination, and keeps you focused on driving, not distractions. Too bad they are going the way of the dodo, now we got people thinking their Tesla can drive for them, until of course it crashes.
