Doc stated in study, her patients have a problem sticking to a Keto diet, when I find it very easy, since so many foods are allowed in a keto diet.

It is ok for 3 months to stick to Keto, and far easiest way to loose weight. 16 kg in 3 months without starving, and will do the same for two months now 10kg. Been to much good foood the last few months being more in my homeland, and now back to basic and hitting the heavy bag again, rowing, and lift weights. Cold season is here 😄

I learned from watching a Dutch guy on Youtube - channel name Physionic

He has a Phd in sth. Smart guy. He always dissects studies on how they were done and shows how some of them are basically not valid for xyz reasons.

Peer reviews are over-rated it seems.

I have a friend who equates "I am a vegan" with significant probability in having std's.

Long term veganism apparently results in diminished overall immunity to everything and anything.

Peer reviews, means other scientists have done their own research, maybe used different numbers and methods, to prove the very same results, and if can not, then try again, but if it matches then it is good science. So if you can not trust peer reviewed science, we are in trouble, but still, common sense is still valid, until it is proved wrong, 

 

When it comes to diet, it is a though matter, since our bodies are adjustable when it comes to periodic changes in nutrition, but again, our bodies if we are "normal" need a balanced diet with balanced nutrition, and how we feel, does matter when we eat something, and we are also corrupted by what we think, and what a group we identifie us with, as well placebo

Even if everything is done properly, peer review is not infallible. If authors fake their data very cleverly, for example, then it may be difficult to detect. Deliberately faking data is, however, relatively rare. Not because scientists are saints but because it is foolish to fake data.

If you want to amp out your immune system then go on a 100% raw food diet, the more dark leafy greens the better. Within a couple weeks you’ll feel 20 years younger, more energy and sleep like a log.

The thing about peer reviews is who's doing the reviewing. Bit like fact checking. Very easy for bias to be shown. Sadly over the last few years science and medicine has been corrupted.

83 years old later this month. I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan. Had hepatitis B and malaria in my twenties but no other illness to date.

Egg and cheese and, very occasionally, fish so not a strict vegetarian. However I do not eat pigs, chickens, cows or sheep.
