I don’t think so.  Neither does Sky news.

By all means, keep reading your propaganda.

That’s all you have left.

Time for the US population to pay the piper.

Everyone wants something from the government, but no one accepts that someone has to pay for it.

Reportedly Musk is 70 billion dollars richer since election day.

They threatened legal action if he didn't buy at the inflated price ..remember ?

Yes that is exactly true. At first they said democracy would die and wouldn't sell it at any price. Twitter staff threatened to leave there was no way he could have it. Then he offered $45 billion best and final and they accepted. He got cold feet tried to back out built now Twitter wanted to make him buy it.

They probably thought it would bankrupt him. So he tries to back out and finds he can't He mans up closes the deal and walks in with a kitchen sink and fires everybody.

Many people laughed and said he would never get his money back. Now many would say it made him the most powerful private citizen in the entire world. His stock is doing better than ever and his private holdings are booming. I doubt he thinks much about $40 billion now. Easy come easy go for a guy like him.

As JT points out the guy has the Midas touch he is worth $70 billion more than just a few weeks ago.

I think they spent more money on staffing than Trump did for his whole campaign. The young turks talked about it.

Some people questioning where the money went.

Her staff was overpaid then because they made abysmal decisions from start to finish although, in fairness to them, a lot of that might have been Kamala herself refusing to follow their suggestions

Can we expect one of these rambling nonsense propaganda posts every few days now?  🤦‍♂️

I suppose this is our "punishment" for Trump winning...  🙄

JT's still groping his way between the initial two stages of grief. This might go on until Spring break

It can't happen here (the US)?

Nah.

It IS happening here.

Not for much longer, this wacked out agenda will end with Trump 2025

That's your opinion.  My opinion is that it was a very good interpretation of a landslide in that context.  But, carry on.

I know you're excited but if an opinion needs "interpretation" and "context", if it needs any sort of explanation, it's simply a win.

Actually, my opinion is that it is.  It was a landslide.   Your opinion may not be the same but that does not make you right.

Correct. But by your own yardstick, "your opinion may not be the same but that does not make you right."

The majority won, freedom of speech won, you nazi, rasist fascists lost...toodle odd now like a good loser

A very slim majority. If you love freedom of speech so much, why are you and all the other maga fan sore winners so aggressively and obnoxiously trying to get the opposition to Trump to shut up? I don't believe maga is really for free speach. They're for maga speech.

312 Electoral College votes. The Senate. The House. The popular vote. All battle states Red, a move to the right even in solid blue states. Landslide or not what it is is a massive slap in the face for the radical, progressive, woke agenda left of which you are one. Look how Red the US is now. Got your butt well and truly kicked. Absolutely glorious albeit somewhat disturbing watching the dummy spitting, baby tantrum throwing meltdowns.

RedAmerica.webp.fc3723dc6838c91188458bd94eed8def.webp

How wonderfully and woefully simplistic. Huge swathes of a state where mostly nobody lives are red. Great fishing in AK though.

Context: 48.2% of the American electorate didn't vote red. That's almost half.

50% of the American electorate voted red. That's only half.

Now, with regard to the latter, what does fifty/fifty mean?

The answer isn't "landslide" either.

Another obnoxious (and very autocratic playbook thing) the sore winner maga fans are doing is trying to gaslight the world that the U.S. in the wake of Trump's win is no longer a DIVIDED country. What a crock.

I would love nothing more than for you to shut up with your constant fear mongering.

However, I stand side by side with you in support of your right to spout such nonsense.

Let me ask you this -- do you think Trump intends to govern in as authoritarian a fashion as he can possibly get away with? Yes or No.

If you say no, I would say you haven't been paying attention.

How is it fear mongering to be worried about an American leader like that?

This is why Trump won. He unashamedly offered a quid quo pro to the oligarchs to get him elected. With people like this running the show the rule of law has no chance. Bribery and corruption at its worst. Plum governemnt jobs for sale, simple as that.

President-elect Donald Trump has selected Chris Wright, a campaign donor and fossil fuel executive, to serve as energy secretary in his upcoming, second administration.

Harris only had 108 days to get her sh*t together, versus the almost two years since Trump declared his candidacy. Their profligacy wasn't unexpected when they need to throw everything and the kitchen sink at the task. I think the Australian vernacular would be "running around like a headless chook"?

I agree that theirs was a pretty hopeless task, especially when the campaign managers appeared focussed on the woman's vote while offered absolutely nothing to counter any of Trump's very bold proclamations of what he would do while himself not offering any substance as to how he would actually do it.

Now, whether that was Harris's telling them what she wanted (unlikely), or the grandees of the Democrat party telling her what they wanted (probably), despite MSM pulling 11th hour, must-win swing states like NC and the importance of their Gen Z voters out of their butts, the result was fairly predictable.

Well done the red team and...good luck America.

Well you hang on to this. It's all you've got. Reality is Trump won everything. Whitehouse/Electoral College/the House/the Senate/the Popular Vote/All 7 swing states. Semantics aside this can sure be seen as a landslide. It's a democratic election. To win you need more votes than your opposition. To win everything (barring the deep blue states) means you won and won big.

You're the one who was dead wrong. Bigly wrong in fact. So if you had been paying attention and not been so locked into your worldview you would of seen the freight train coming.

It's fear mongering because it's all unfounded left wing talking points. The precise ones that lost you the election.

But here you are digging in.

Excellent summation of the Democrats worldview and not just the OP's. The party allowed Biden to be nominated when he was already beyond his use-by date. Everything they've done since then has only been varying degrees of damage limitation.

Trump won because the middle class, black Americans, Latinos, Asians, women, Arabs, Muslims, Jews, white America. the working class etc. voted for him more than Harris.

You see what you had to do there? You had to qualify your big win with "barring the deep blue states". Now, if one of them had been flipped, then THAT would have made the win epically landslidey.

Bigly even.

Got it.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion but I can't ascribe any credibility to not seeing Trump as an authoritarian style leader. It's like what planet are you from.

Saying that, I will now disengage as I find it a waste of time talking to people clearly not grounded in reality.
