is why I asked. If they have to go through such a palaver and it's not working anyway..

Well it works really nicely for me.. Netflix + Nord give me total satisfaction. Some EU TV Chanels have now fairly up to date IP blacklists and block Nord. Annoying as the only way around that is to get dedicated IPs at about 4 Euros/month a piece.

  • People don't seem to realise that speed varies greatly depending on where you're connecting to. It helps if the base speed which is measured by these speed testing services is really high to begin wit

50mbps won't cause buffering, i used to watch Live Sky Sports at 10mbps.   The problem is usually the servers being used by your Wizz TV, I've heard others complain for months now.

  • Possibly YT have servers here in Thailand which would make a huge difference compared to IPTV services.

Thanks. Helpful information. I watch the odd film and documentary now and again. Never considered a subscription service. Recently found 'Pluto.tv' which is apparently legit and free. Only one advert during each commercial break. Geo-blocked in Thailand but works perfectly well with my one dollar per month VPN - 'SmartDNSProxy'.

Isn't that obvious to you? He wants to access content that isn't available in Thailand.

Yes and No. I turn on my vpn on my tablet when i want to download tv shows.

next (this is my age showing 😉 ) - if i turn off my vpn, does that have any impact on my problem with my netscape viewing on my android tv ?

Netscape? Wasn't that an Internet browser of the sixties.

As regards your question, I'd say "it depends". ISP could be throttling certain kind of traffic so the VPN could improve things, but if the problem is cause by your TV the VPN won't change a thing. But using a Roku device would work miracles.

Netscape 🙂 yeah, I need to do a memory wipe.
