The World Will Store 200 Zettabytes Of Data By 2025: And growing!
Dear Folks, One thing that always freaks me out is....the.... Exponential Function. And, similarly, during the past decade, or more, since I arrived in Thailand, this trip, I have become worried about just how much data can be... Stored in the cloud.....SUSTAINABLY. Do you ever worry about this, too? Also, what is a zettabyte, anyway? And, let's keep in mind that the need for cloud storage of data has been increasing for awhile, yet the intensity of this increase is.....now.... INCREASING...as expected. SO then..... Since everyone here is familiar with the exponential function.... Something will give, sooner or later, and probably sooner. So, the question is: Do you believe that storage providers will be able to keep up with world demand, even though demand might be exponential. And, question TWO....do you think that the required energy for data storage will be sustainable? Here you can see the discrepancy between supply and demand for storage: The storage capacity in this chart is using exabyte units. But, perhaps, we are already into Zettabyte territory. Is it possible that, due to exponential growth, the energy demand for data storage will, someday soon.... Exceed, by a factor of 10, the energy production of the entire world? Might this cause a few problems, before 2030, for those who wish to store data, such as family photos, among other problematic problems? What will you do if/when cloud data becomes impractical? Where will you keep your data, then.....? -

60-day visa exemptions are now unlimited at land borders
I am surprised that you are surprised by the IO's actions. The first principle of entry requirements is that you have the visa that is appropriate to your circumstances. VE or TV are not suitable for someone living in Thailand or making regular visits to see their Thai wife. -

Thailand’s first F1 race planned for Bangkok’s Chatuchak by 2027
I went to the first grand prix in Singapore in 2008.As it goes around the city streets many roads had to be blocked off and all the locals and particularly the taxi drivers were whinging about it but it's still going 16 years later and it is good for hotels and restuarants etc. with all the tourists and there was a huge buzz around the city. -

How Has Thailand’s New Income Tax Law Affected Your Spending Habits?
Why would you do like that when you have been saying that you would be staying outside of Thailand so that you don't meet the 180 day threshold -

CNN Faces Record Low Ratings Amid Strategic Overhaul
it's more than that. It it's poorly produced. It's boring lifeless and they should hire better looking people. Connie Chung was known as a great anchor at one point but it is because people were mesmerized by her almond shaped eyes and big boobs. Other than that they all just read from a prompter which is nothing exceptional. -

Warehouse Worker, 23, Killed in Motorcycle Collision with Parked Truck
Never stops...rear ending parked trucks seems to be an occupational hazard here.....nothing to do with dark visors...texting on phones....being pissed....and of course there's the tales of how the accidents happened by witnesses....
