An alarming incident unfolded yesterday when a 58 year old man drove a green-black Toyota saloon car into a crowd, injuring several people and damaging numerous vehicles before fleeing the scene. Police are actively pursuing him to bring him to justice.

The chaos erupted yesterday, December 16 at around 6.30pm when emergency services in Phetchaburi received reports of a car colliding with motorcycles at Arun Pradit intersection, Mueang district, Phetchaburi province.

The reckless act resulted in at least three people suffering severe injuries. Emergency medical teams, alongside rescue units, were dispatched promptly to the scene where they discovered injured individuals sprawled across the road. Some injuries were critical, necessitating immediate medical evacuation to King Mongkut Hospital for urgent treatment.

The offending vehicle fled towards Petchkasem Road, heading in the direction of Bangkok. In response, law enforcement swiftly communicated via radio to set up roadblocks along the suspected escape route.

Prior reports indicated that the same vehicle had been involved in collisions with multiple motorcycles along an 18-metre road stretch from Arun School Intersection to Khao Wang Intersection, leaving further damage in its wake.

Subsequent investigations led by Wanchai Khawram, the superintendent of Mueang Phetchaburi Police Station, focused on gathering intelligence about the perpetrator’s escape route. Officers soon identified the driver as Chainurak, who was operating a green-black Toyota with licence plate 9 กด 9765 Bangkok. Evidence, including vehicle parts, was collected at the scene to aid the investigation.

Efforts to reach Chainurak proved challenging, as Wanchai attempted to contact his relatives without success. It is believed that Chainurak might have been heading to work at a company located in Sam Phran district, Nakhon Pathom province.

Moving forward, the police plan to summon all affected parties for additional questioning. A summons for Chainurak will also be issued to facilitate his questioning and gather essential evidence to proceed with legal actions against him.

“We are determined to resolve this case swiftly and ensure that justice is served.”

The community remains on edge as the search intensifies for Chainurak, whose actions have left a trail of destruction and concern across the region.

Police are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward, ensuring that he is held accountable for his actions, reported KhaoSod.

Somehow I don't think he will clock-in, rather he might phone and call in a sickie

He will be hiding under the bed at his mothers house for sure…Yabadabado!

Probably needs time to sober up.

Technically he was in a car, those motorcycles should have given him the right-of-way.

Yet another case of kratom or yaba abuse.

This SOB should be locked up for a couple years and driver's licence suspended indefinitely.

They'll lure him out with some home cooking

If they believed that the information must have been given to them by someone who knew Chainurak's intended movements. Who was it?
