Undercover International police
ASIO may be in Thailand, and other countries, depending on what / who they are investigating, and there are some federal police based in the Embassies, but they do not go out and investigate. They liaise with local authorities when needed, and that goes both ways, for Aussies in Thailand, and Thai's in Australia. -

WHO Implements Hiring Freeze and Travel Restrictions Following U.S. Withdrawal Announcement
That does not show any effective action by WHO after several weeks of reports of illnesses within China .... I don't know why you're trying, and failing, to defend this corrupt and useless organisation with your highly selective and inconclusive links .... do you work for the UN? -

Tourism Authority of Thailand Aims for ฿3 Trillion by Focusing on Emerging Markets
" Thailand is no longer attracting very many Western tourists for a dozen very good reasons " There you go again stating this falsehood without actually looking at the data. In 2024 4 out of the top 5 Western tourist markets - UK, Germany, Australia and France - were either just over or just under the 2019 peak numbers. None of those markets have ever been in the top 10 numbers wise, so nothing has changed in that regard. As usual your post relies more on your borderline racist outlook without any reference to factual information -

Mennen: Do you still get on the stick?
Yes. Choose cotton, and, most likely, Mennen and similar articles will be less needed, or not needed at all. Synthetic fibers are not suitable for clothing. (products such as GorTex excepted, maybe, and other outerwear materials) Obviously, once people switched to wearing synthetic fibers, the Mennen-type products went through the roof, at least in the USA, and maybe Canada. Doubt they care in Mexico, however. Also, it's my view that the more you use (deodorant), the more you must use, and the more you stink. Just another reason why I stopped using it (other than to sniff), back around 1982. https://www.buffalo.edu/ubnow/stories/2022/06/casteel-history-of-deodorant.html My impression is that it was the US GI in the trenches, or in the barracks, that might have something to do with the huge increase in deodorant use. https://lonekauri.com/blogs/news/a-whiff-of-history-the-evolution-of-deodorant Maybe we will need to first consult some industry sources in order to get to the bottom of this. We need more objective research. And, we definitely need a GRAPH showing fragrance and deodorant usage from just before the Depression Era, until Present. I just wonder how many hobos were wandering around spritzing perfume under their arms, and maybe other places. Meanwhile: My best word of advice is to WEAR COTTON. Shower Daily (two times better), Don't use Mennen, or any similar deodorant product, other than to sniff, and....MOST IMPORTANTLY: Stay away from others who do not follow these rules. ALSO: The more you use, of any deodorant product, the more you stink. So let this be a word to the wise. -
