Exactly what I would have done FWIW.

I once ran into guy at CW doing report in person. Wouldn't believe it his online was approved during his trip to CW

I finally got the approval PDF file emailed this evening - so CW took 9 days to approve. The PDF was backdated to 9 days ago to when I applied online. I will now cancel the appointment back up plan in case I didn't get approved.

  • It was the first report after being out of the country, so not a surprise.

  • I think they do work weekends.  My recent online report was submitted on Saturday 9 November and rejected on Sunday 10 November.

  • Yes, some Province 90 day reports are approved at weekends. Chiang Mai for sure.

Good news.

CW can sometimes take much longer than 9 days.

15 is common..

Re backdated....online reporting and in person gives new report date from date of application.

Via mail the new 90 starts from previous due date.

Edit: This post has been corrected.

Are you sure?

I only ask because certainly my in-person 90 day reports the new due date is calculated from the actual date I report, not the due date.

That's correct.

I mixed up my post.

The 90 start from previous due date is only for reporting via mail.

I will edit my post.

Quick question why would an online or an in person report be rejected?

Mine was rejected as I been out of the country.  Had to report in person.

Online rejected for various reasons.

One is that's it's a problematic system.

Also seems immigration trying to sync TM30 with online reporting.

Incomplete filling in of application (rare as magnifying glass is autofill)

You have returned from trip out of Thailand and they want in person report.

I last did in person (CW) last Nov 5.

My window opens soon. No international travel.

I have ZERO confidence online will be approved.

Tempted to use bullet proof mail option.. OR just ignore the messed up system and pay 2000b at next extension (this Nov).

Refuse to do in person after international travel.

There's a saying...."if it ain't broke don't fix it"

We have a stupid broken system. Fix it..

As the title says, my question is, are online 90 day checks approved during weekends? I know immigration is closed during the weekends, but will the online requests still be handled?

My deadline is on the 12th, that's this Sunday, and as of now, my status is still pending somehow. It usually takes 2 days for me, never longer, but this time, right when it might become a problem if they wait longer, they actually did wait longer...

Online reporting can be made 14 days before. It will take 2-3 days for approval from immigration. Reporting on weekend is not an issue as long as the immigration website is up and running.

Go in person Friday or Saturday morning, it only takes 5 mins, just hand them your passport that's it they do the rest

Which immigration office provides approval in 2-3 days.

I'm aware some do very quick approval..

Buriram is one such office. For recent online reports, my average wait time is 2-3 days for approval, with some even approved same day as submitted. Prior to that there were a couple of instances of a 6-7 day wait, which may have been because of holidays.

The issue with some offices (CW being example) the process time can be couple of weeks+.

Result outside the grace period so some folk end up doing it in person with no update on status.
