This isn't the complete picture.  There was also rioting by immigrants where the police basically walked away and let them get on with it.  Then, when non-immigrants rioted later, they were pretty firm with them.  You can't really remove the context of a recent riot that relates in some way.

Yes. The whole premise of his platform was that he was more honest, untouched by sleaze, straightforward, dependable, trustworthy, listened too and was in touch with the people...

 

He has proved to be the antithesis of all of those.

100%...  never have I been 'so anti' any British Politician before...    This guy may leave lasting damage....

 

 

 

There's a supermarket in the midlands somewhere without its manager...  and this is all this guy is good for - that he made it to PM astonishes me.. how a vote of no confidence has not yet been called is a bigger surprise.

I've never seen a more catastrophic fall in public support in my near 45 years of watching British politics. Setting aside the despicable riots etc I predicted that we were sailing close to IMF bailout territory again ( Healy, 1976 ). 

 

I now see politicos saying that Reeves is being treated for depression as her budget was a disaster and the UK cost of borrowing is soaring. 

 

The problem is that thousands of businesspeople are selling up and leaving the country with their capital. Who in their right mind would subject themselves to this Labour tax and pension policy when Dubai is offering tax free living.

Furthermore, and most egregious, he now appears to be placing limiting political damage from the fall out from the exposure of the Pakistani Child Rape Gangs cover up over the need for a proper inquiry into what is probably the biggest scandal in British post war history.
