Thai mosquito repellant - your experience?
4th shelf down on the right side of this photo. The second spray cans - green and purple - these are pyrethrum flower sprays and IMO, work the best for inside the house/ porch. The pyrethrum derivatives are non-toxic to humans, dogs & cats. Mosquitoes hate this stuff. -

Worst or lowest part of your life ?
Again , making a statement and putting a question mark at the end . Oh I see, its a reference to the Life of Brian where they throw rocks at a blasphemer and Basil gets squashed by a huge rock . Basil was Julius Caesar salad in the movie , if I remember correctly -

Col(u)mbia sends its presidential planecollect worthless illegals after being spanked.
OK, I finally went to a reputable aviation website about this controversy. 'Air andSpace Forces' magazine. It clarifies that two C17's took off - with the proper clearances to land in Colombia - but their permission to enter Colombian airspace was 'revoked' before they reached the FIR boundary. So there was no 'refused permission to land' during final approach, they were 'refused entry'. A quote from the article states: “It is the responsibility of each nation to take back their citizens who are illegally present in the United States in a serious and expeditious manner,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement. “Colombian President Petro had authorized flights and provided all needed authorizations and then canceled his authorization when the planes were in the air.” The link to the article is here: https://www.airandspaceforces.com/air-force-c-17s-first-deportation-flights-guatemala/ Refusal of entry is less of a problem than refusal to land at a late stage in the flight, but still highly irregular without serious valid justification. -

UK Police Advised to Avoid Terms Like ‘Blacklisted’ and ‘Black Sheep’ Amid Concerns
Back in England, my friend's Granddaughter goes to a school in Essex. In the Science room they have two writing boards. A black on for use with chalk, and a white one for use with specials felt pens. The black board is used for quick stuff, while the white board has diagrams, and writings, that are there for considerably longer. His Granddaughter visited him soon after the start of the new term (last year) and said that the students were not to refer to the black, or white, boards anymore. But instead were to refer them as 'colour neutral dark', and 'colour neutral light'. Or!! Cause they were given a choice. As 'Writing board dark', and 'Writing board light'. (Could have been 'Dark writing board' and 'Light writing board'. Can't quite recall.) My friend thought is was a joke. So he emailed the school in Romford, and they confirmed what the Granddaughter had said. Strange things ahead for the UK.
