Just two examples.....

Immigrants are more likely than native-born citizens to start businesses, ranging from small shops to tech companies. These businesses create jobs and stimulate local economies, which can provide opportunities for poorer individuals....Elon Musk?

Legal immigrants, not mass migration folding into the country.

Immigrants working in labor-intensive industries where there are labour shortages can help reduce production costs. This can result in cheaper goods and services, which disproportionately benefits poorer households that spend a larger share of their income on necessities.

The downward pressure on wages, upward pressure on housing prices, impact on social services, education and medical care far outweigh any small price reduction due to lower direct labor.

Just heard Neil deGrasse Tyson say so far at least, Musk hasn't done anything NASA hasn't already done...

Space X sends cargo rockets up to the Space Station?

NASA has been doing that for decades.

Fooling people that you're some kind of "genius" for  getting $$$$ in Government contracts doing something that's already been done decades ago?

PRICELESS 🏆

Yeah, but the difference is I didn't expect it to be done overnight as I understand there is a process to go through, negotiations,  legistation, documentation, signatures,  where as you just lose you brain , 'he said immediately, I demand immediate, even though I never held Biden or Obama to the same scrutiny, I also ignore the 3 million deportations... but but TRUMP is a SLUUG... If you're so smart, why aren't you rich logical fallacy.

Weird Nerds will do anything to protect Musk. 😄

"If you're so smart, why aren't you rich" is a logical fallacy known as "argumentum ad crumenam" (argument to the purse), which assumes that wealth is a direct indicator of intelligence, wrongly implying that someone who isn't rich cannot be smart; essentially, it dismisses someone's argument based on their financial status, not the merit of their ideas.

Why this is a fallacy:

Many factors contribute to wealth:

Factors like luck, family background, business opportunities, and social networks can play a significant role in wealth accumulation, not just intelligence alone.

Not all smart people prioritize wealth:

Some individuals may choose to pursue intellectual pursuits over financial gain, prioritizing different values in life.

Ignoring systemic issues:

This phrase can overlook systemic barriers that might prevent individuals from accumulating wealth, regardless of their intelligence.

The internet at your location seems to be working now...

You're free to use something called a "search engine" that gives you various websites with different information on various topics that you're interested in.

You're welcome. 😄

SpaceX's Starship is designed for interplanetary travel, with the capability to return from Mars to Earth. The spacecraft will be refueled on Mars using local resources, enabling it to ascend from the Martian surface and make a direct return journey to Earth.

God, you people will fall for anything.

"Self Driving Mode is just around the corner."

2020: Musk claimed that Tesla was "very close" to achieving Level 5 autonomy.

2021: He reiterated that full autonomy would be achieved by the end of the year.

2023: Musk predicted that fully autonomous Teslas would be realized "later this year."

2024: He announced plans to start fully autonomous, unsupervised FSD in Texas and California in 2025, with the CyberCab expected to be in production by 2026.

Double down on the chaos.

Trumps highly chaotic record breaking approval ratings, Trump knows no boundaries for effective, record setting chaos, it's habitually one win after another. The real chaos is the readily apparent & persistent non-stop loony liberal losers 24/7 meltdown and constant diet of $hit sandwiches they inhale one after another.

Trump Effect:

  1. Misidentify the problem.
  2. Ignore the facts.
  3. Double down on the chaos.

And his base? Blissfully unaware, as your post makes painfully clear.

And, this party, based on the Trump effect and chaos somehow destroyed the feckless and bidenite infused party of liberal muppets on Nov 5, 2024. Is it logical to conclude then that the Trumps party of chaos is superior to the liberal party of muppets and morons?

A simple yes or know  answer will suffice if you are up to it.

Muppets/morons or chaos, which do you prefer LosBobo?

Yes.

Liberals were "morons" for not attacking the people destroying the American Middle Class...

Mostly Rich Republicans running large corporations corrupting government with lobbyists to benefit an enormous wealth transfer to themselves.

You're right.

Liberals were very stupid for not identifying the enemy.

They lost when they should have won big.

Now we got a TV personality who hired other TV personalities for a marketing campaign.

They couldn't give a <deleted> or not if these people are qualified.  They hate the government.

That's why they want to destroy it.

Not to lower inflation, home prices, etc

To make themselves richer with corruption.

Which y'all David Koresh Enthusiastics will lap up like a saucer of milk in front of a newborn kitten (who doesn't know it will give it diarrhea).

Biden took it to the middle class and tried to destroy them economically, in the schools, in the churches and their free speech and FAILED and got his feckless corrupt A$$ thrown out like a sack on monkey dung.

Same deportation levels as Biden.

Biden INVITED the illegal aliens into America with open arms and and provided untold tax payer subsidized freebies even flying them in on charter flights and within the country as well all paid for by tax payers.. LOL. Trump controlled the border and reduced illegal immigration and numbers of deportees was very low because of his secure border policies. Figure that one out. Check a few charts while you're at it and see the quantum increase in illegal immigration during bidens 4 year planned  free immigration to murderers, rapists and a whole host of felons and don't forget the 2M got-aways lurking somewhere unbeknownst in the heartland. Good stuff if they don' rape or kill someone.

I see you once again conflating LEGAL immigration of qualified people that benefit the country, with ILLEGAL gangbangers that cause mayhem and only benefit they bring is voting for free stuff and legalized crime aka democrats.

Please stop doing that, it is silly.

The piece I posted was a broader look at immigration and the myths surrounding the topic. The article makes some good points.

Doesn't really matter if they are undocumented or legal. The crux of the argument, or should we say 'myth' set by Trump, and easily licked up by posters on here - who push their shallow arguments through silly memes and slogans, is that immigrants, legal or not, commit less crime than US born citizens https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/articles/undocumented-immigrant-offending-rate-lower-us-born-citizen-rate

There's probably tons more about the economic input and output of US-born citizens compared to immigrants, but I can't be arsed.

Did anyone here watch the Australian 60 minutes interview with Fred Trump, Donnie's nephew?

Far from a liberal, he reminds me of rich people I have met.

Very stiff.  Their body language says strong, confident.

NY Real Estate developer.

Gets his own work.

Doesn't work for the "Family".

Donnie screwed him out of his inheritance by scheming with his Aunt the Judge, among others.

Blatant money grab.

Guess what? Took him to court and eventually Donnie settled.

Before the settlement money was obtained he had to go to Donnie to beg for a small fraction of that money for his disabled son (from birth).

Trump actually told him he's too expensive just let him die and move to Florida.

Can you imagine being that cruel to anyone much less your family?

Hitler killed the disabled. Fact.

Don't like the comparison?

Stop worshiping a cruel <deleted>, duh.

Yes, Adolf Hitler's regime systematically targeted disabled individuals as part of its eugenics policies during the Nazi era. This was carried out under the so-called T4 Program (named after the address Tiergartenstraße 4 in Berlin).

The program, which began in 1939, aimed to eliminate those considered "life unworthy of life," including people with physical, intellectual, or psychiatric disabilities. Nazi ideology promoted the idea of racial purity and sought to "cleanse" society of individuals seen as a burden on the state or harmful to the gene pool.

Key details of the T4 Program include:

1. Methods of Killing: Disabled individuals were killed through lethal injection, starvation, and later, in gas chambers—methods that would later be used in the Holocaust.

2. Victims: It is estimated that about 200,000 disabled people, including children, were murdered under this program.

3. Public Backlash: Opposition to the program, including protests by clergy and families, forced the regime to officially halt the T4 Program in 1941. However, killings continued covertly until the end of the war.

These atrocities are a stark reminder of the dangers of ableism, dehumanization, and unchecked power.

Donnie this, Donnie that. Are you personal buddies with Trump, or sufferring from the dreaded unmentionable lurgy? Seeing Anna Kasparians awakening, clearly it is possible to recover from it and rejoin reality. Good luck.

Every time I see an "illegal" immigrant,I see a criminal.

A criminal who hires an illegal immigrant because they know they're hard workers who are looking for a fresh start in America and a better life for their family.

Hiring illegal immigrants is a crime.

Ironic that the criminal in this situation is a "legal" American, typically born in the USA. 😄
