I thought at first this was a challenge of the will. It is extremely unlikely that would be a no win no fee basis. No win no fee are generally for accident claims where there is an almost certainty of winning. But given the case is against the sons may be. But with no win no fee in the event of a win after fees there is very little for the plaintif.

That's a comparison of Thai and UK law!   

I hope she has been made aware of English law. If she is offered a sum before going to court but she rejects it but then the amount offered is less than the amount the court finally offer then she gets the lower amount. BUT she has to pay her own costs. If the two sons are savvy they will make a generous offer. If she gets awarded less then she pays her costs. So wont be left with much. If she loses then she pays her costs and the son's costs.

I looked at 3 words,high court barister, those costs are going to make big hole in 400k, she must been told that  and she still wants to go on with the case,gold digger.

It would not be the first time of have seen one's wealth redistributed to a village / Thai family in Issan.  

 

Not claiming to be an expert here , but I think the divorce laws are different in the UK and Thailand . In the UK , all assets are taken into consideration , whilst in TH , assets accumulated before marriage are not considered . in any divorce settlement.

Not necessarily, High Court is just the name of the court. In England and Wales there are 2 courts that rank higher than the High Court.
