Another niggly detail I've been coming across is the whole area of tax exemption for LTR visa holders. I've seen it described here and elsewhere as a blanket exemption for bringing in foreign source income.
But now, both Siam Legal and another tax advisory firm have both been limiting that, advising that the tax exemption for LTR holders ONLY applies to remittance of foreign income earned from the PRIOR year... and not the current year, like if someone was transferring their salary every month as it was earned.

Maybe you missed some history this US created agency by JFK in the past through normal channels refuse to answer to Congress as to accountability of funds. The agency in fact felt they weren't even being funded their boss US Government that nose thumbing is well known.
You speak humanity, fairness giving a bit of warning, if China, Russia did this no one would be saying a thing just like no one is holding China for COVID except U.S.
The only blame for any and all resulting in the stoppage of aid until review lays squarely on those who were running the agency!

The declining health of Russia's economy is as clear as day — or night, a finance minister said Wednesday.
Elisabeth Svantesson, the finance minister of Sweden, said she and her officials were skeptical of how Russia's official figures were describing its economy.
One measure they use instead, she said on a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos, is comparing photos of Moscow by night.
The lighting there, she said, was darker in 2023 than in 2021, indicating a capital and a nation in trouble.
