Anti-Semitism in the NHS: The Disturbing Reality of Hate Among Medical Professionals

One of the most egregious offenders is trauma and orthopaedics doctor Dr. Rahmeh Aladwan. Of Palestinian descent, she has "Free Palestine" tattooed on her left bicep and has littered her social media accounts with alarming endorsements of Hamas. In a post titled "Resist," she declared, "We never condemn the Palestinians. We back their struggle, including armed struggle," alongside an upside-down red triangle.

They need good docs in Gaza. Why is she not there supporting the terrorists

  • When you import medical professionals from places like the Middle East, you also import the intolerance and hatred that is unfortunately so prevalent in these societies.   It's shocking that

  • Totally scandalous that these racist terrorist-supporters continue to practice in the NHS.

  • Sounds like people exercising their right to free speech. Their statements entirely reasonable. Of course if you are biased, you aren't going to see it that way.     seems perfectly r

They originate from a doctor working in the NHS, a profession dedicated to saving lives and serving the most vulnerable. Even more troubling, she is not alone. Over the past year, more than a dozen NHS doctors, nurses, and dentists have been found promoting hate speech, praising terrorist organizations, and spreading dangerous misinformation.

This is indeed a scary situation for British Jews, especially those with dual citizenship in the U.K. and Israel.  If doctors feel strongly enough about the Palestinian cause to justify the slaughter of Israeli civilians attending a music festival as "resistance,"  isn't there at least a risk they will also regard fatal mistreatment of Israeli or Jewish patients as resistance?  Suppose an IDF reservist would seek medical care while on a visit to the U.K.  Would a Palestine doctor feel it's right to administer a treatment intended to kill, rather than cure, the patient?

Two Australian licensed nurses, a male  originally from Afghanistan and female of Palestinian background, recently threaten to kill Israeli patient, with the male apparently bragging he had already done so. https://aseannow.com/topic/1351586-australian-nurses-suspended-over-hate-speech-antisemitic-video-as-investigation-unfolds/

Threats of harm or death on the Internet are often dismissed as harmless hyperbole because they aren't credible threats- and rightly so.  However, threats by medical professionals fall into an entirely different category.  Doctors and nurses are in a position to cause considerable harm to patients.  At the very least, the doctors cited in the OP are guilty of hate speech, which isn't a commendable attribute for a physician.

She needs to end up in a trauma room along with the rest of her terrorist friends.

The problem is the UK is too soft and sweety to do anything about it.

Dr. Wahid Shaida, a Harrow-based GP, has also drawn criticism for referring to Hamas as a "resistance" group and calling the October 7 attacks "a very welcome punch on the nose." Despite a brief NHS suspension, he was reinstated last July and remains licensed to practice. Likewise, Wolverhampton GP Dr. Kamran Ahmed received only a formal warning from the GMC after calling the Israeli flag the "modern-day swastika" and comparing Gaza to Auschwitz. Nevertheless, he remains an active doctor.

Just one of the many reasons I won't step a foot back in the UK until they kick out all the nationalities running the country apart from the British

Palestinians have the right to resist - but the way they do it matters.

Israelis the right to defend when attacked - but the way they do it matters.

and now this conflict has been imported into the UK so the general population has to deal with it. All of this could have easily been avoided.

Medical professionals are free to think anything they like, but when doing their work, if they apply their biases to that, they deserve to be booted out.

People go there to work , their political beliefs should be left at home .

Especially in the medical profession, there is no room for political differences

I hope they round all these so-called doctors and give them a one-way ride to Palestine then add them to the terrorist watch list and the no-fly list. They could show they truly support their people by improving their medical services at home. :whistling:

"An Egyptian NHS doctor who mocked Israeli festival-goers for fleeing Hamas gunmen on Oct 7 has won a legal challenge against deportation.

"An immigration tribunal judge backed Dr Mennah Elwan in her claim that James Cleverly, the home secretary at the time, was wrong to cancel her leave to remain in the UK after ruling that her presence was 'not conducive to the public good'."
