yes, and when ever has any politician ever had the same scrutiny that Trump gets.

The fact check are often lies in themselves.

If Trump says off the cuff,  doge saved 100 billion in fraud, and it was 99 billion, they fact check him and say he lied about the amount, while totally ignoring the actual fraud.

No need for made up hypothetical examples. There are plenty of real examples of Trump lying.

So many lies, so many falsehoods, the man is clearly living in a world of make-believe. Unfortunately he's been allowed to get away with it up till now. But can he live in this alternative universe for another four years even with no one in the GOP daring to tell him he's not wearing any clothes?

Most of those were factual statements by Trump. It was known at the time.

Here are some of Trump's biggest lies since back in office:

1. Trump claimed condoms worth 100 million dollars had gone to Hamas.

2. Blaming Ukraine for starting the war, : 'You should never have started it.'

3. Trump claimed the US is the only country that has birthright citizenship. Dozens of countries have it.

4. Pardoning the Jan 6 rioters. He said the people he pardoned were 'actually assaulted by our government. They didn't assault.'

4. Trump linked the LA wildfires to California's decision to use some of its water to protect a fish species. Nothing to do with each other. Then after ordering the release of billions of gallons of water from Central Valley reservoirs for no good reason, Trump said the water was going to LA- no it didn't.

5. The 2020 election was rigged.

6 Trump claimed Canada wants to be the 51st state- er, no. 

7. Trump blamed Biden for diversity programmes causing the January airplane crash.

8. Trump claims countries he slaps tariffs on 'are charged'. No, it's US consumers who are charged.

9. In his inaugural address he said that China is operating the Panama canal. It isn't.

10. Trump claimed he won the youth vote by 36 points. However, exit polls show he lost the youth vote.
