They only joined the war because Hitler was mad enough to attack them, but true, their contribution meant the destruction of Nazi Germany.

Trump is just a temporary aberration. If ever there was a president likely to get assassinated its him. I doubt very much if he will complete his second term. He is just rubbing too many people up the wrong way. Even some of those who voted for him are regretting the folly of their decision.

I was up early and listened to his live speech on Sky News this morning, I gave up after the ''windmills segment''

He is bonkers and I cannot believe Americans voted this chump in.

I can see a coup happening in the US,  the Generals must remove him.....

Actually he has discontinued secret service protection for a number of officials that did not agree with him during his last presidency. Not sure what happens to the details if they are pulled off protection detail

Russia is even in agreement there should be an election so I suppose they would  honour a ceasefire for the few days it would take to allow the Ukrainians to go to the polls.
