The trap was set, as I said. It's disappointing that your brain cannot see anything other than extremes. It always has to be the other guy's fault.

Well done Trump. Imagine little Z would have walked all over Harris/Walz. Thankful sanity prevailed in the last election. Seeing the Ukraine ambassador's face in her hands when Z had his tantrum

Never seen such derangement as there is from the anti Trump brigade.

Putin has no desire to attack the EU, you are living in a warmongering delusion fed to you by a lying corrupted media.

Why is it that you folk all appear to have the same limited vocabulary? You latch on to a word or phrase and use that, instead of using your brain for it's proper purpose.

It's your writings that appear deranged, with no aforethought nor analysis. Just reactions and set phrases.

Quit the name calling and unsubstantiated assertions and look at the facts, to see who might actually be telling the truth. Who cares about Left or Right? Who is telling the truth? Does that not matter to you? if not, what kind of person are you?

You might want to look through these threads a bit more to see who says what.

These guy here won't accept any truth, for years they added link after link as proof trump was going to jail, Biden wasnt in cognitive decline, Russia was losing the war....they were told by a few of us here that this was not true but we just get called cultists and/or Putin shills, Kremlin propagandists... and now look... but try still refuse to admit they were lied to

You do understand that not everyone knows everything don't you? They had their opinions and they might have been right, but those avenues were thwarted.

I think that's a big issue with these discussions. The assumption that the other guy is your complete opposite and you have to hate each other.

When really, you both want the same thing. You are both humans with likely the same basic needs.

People are constantly fed information and from that information they form opinions. They may be right sometimes and wrong about some things, but their heart, as we say, is in the right place. They don't see themselves as bad people and you don't see yourselves as bad people. But the way the information is framed is designed to set you against each other.

There are good guys and bad guys on both sides, but you are being manipulated into taking ONE side. That means the 'bad guys' on either side get a free pass.

Is Trump known for being a good guy? So how come he's the good guy now? I don't know all the answers. I just try to take a balanced view, discuss what I know and listen to what other people think they know. When people discuss in a reasonable way, you can at least put their serious views into your information bank and process it.

But when there is this stupid name calling and insulting, you cannot take such a person seriously. They are by nature, degenerates.

I think you know there are many of that type here.

Especially for women, like you give a single <deleted> about Afghans.

Typical mainstream media reader response.

The whole withdrawal couLD have been handled better, Biden had months to arrange things, if the Taliban were able to take over in a matter of hours it doesnt say much for the 16yrs occupation.

I'm not referring to Biden's and his generals final withdrawal - they had little time to do it as Trump the great negotiator had already given a date that he knew Biden would be in charge for the Taliban to pour into the city.  For 20 years the females were allowed to go to school, hold elected offices, work outside the home, no covering of face nor were they forbidden to make eye contact with a male not of their family.  Just like any of he Trump deals, give away anything important just so he can claim being successfull.  I enlisted, didn't have a family doctor to write about MY heel spurs affecting my draft position.  He and Biden were twins in that regards too.  His local constituents didn't have anything good to say about him when I worked in Seaford Delaware after my initial VN days.

That is exactly the status quo for Trump, always has been and always will be IMHO.  He is a useless human being who has pulled the wool over too many people hoping for something better, but he just is not truthful so he tells lies after lies....

Yessir, as mentioned at the beginning, this is an opinion forum - opinions are usually based on life experiences so therefore very few have the same exact opinion.  Mine is based on volunteering to join the US military in 1964, spending 10 years working the VN problem, no draft dodging.  Working for Uncle Same another 30 years in some S%$#$hole countries and some really great ones too and well familiar with government employees of all types, some great some not so great, just riding the train to get their bennies.  I'm retired now, couldn't stand the cold weather in the US so moved here to Thailand.  I still love this country and plan to stay until I'm gone.  At least here, I can associate with whom I wish and easily avoid the rest and  ifin the US it would not be as easy to do so.

Interesting how you try to blame Biden for that one, when it looked like a trap for him set up by the Trump administration. Was this another mineral rights agreement in the planning by Trump?

Well there's no question that Trump rushed it and Trump is partially to blame for the Afghan debacle and the manner in which we betrayed our Afghan assistants, translators and the people who trusted us. However even as a cantrost dem, I have always insisted that Biden could could have prolonged the withdrawal and done a much better job.

Trump messed it up no doubt but Biden could have done something to try to repair a broken situation caused by the creep.

Good one. Good on you. I too hope to be here the rest of my life I love it here and I do go back to the States a couple of times a year and after a month there it reminds me of the dozen reasons why I left, and life there is not getting any better it is declining by the day.

Trump is making America worse, and he will never be able to follow through with his ridiculous slogan of making the place great again, that's 50 years in the past.

This exemplifies all the qualities that Trump does not have and never will have. Virtually every quality he has is the opposite of honor, and the man is the opposite of a patriot. He is closer to a plague.

Unfortunately, Trump gave in to the Taliban on the withdrawal timing because Trump knew that Biden and Co. were inept in the military field and Biden just wanted out of there as fast as possible without thinking that the Taliban would just sit around and wait until we were gone before doing anything.  Now - STONE AGE or worse for the Afghanies after tasting freedom!  Michner's "Caravans" was exactly correct when we entered.

Trump intentionally wanted to humiliate Zelensky in the Oval Office on a world stage, and for Vance to be lecturing him, a man who's never been to you Ukraine, and a very small man who's never fought in a war, was really the bottom of the barrel. Vance had the audacity of accusing Zelensky of acting disrespectful in the sacred confines of the Oval Office, when in reality both he and Trump are being disgrace to the overall office on a daily basis. What he really meant to say is why are you not kissing the ring?

Yes, this was a deliberate "ambush" for Trump and Vance to show how "great" they really are and how they have the upper hand over this supposedly weak and insignificant dictator, and it was a disgraceful show by them.

Then there was the question from an onlooker/press corp (who turned out to be the husband of Marjorie Taylor Green) about Zelinski "disrespecting the office" and what a load of claptrap that was, designed to intimidate and to get the MAGA goobers behind them. They sunk to the lowest of the low and there will be millions of people around the world who will never be able to respect these two US clowns again.

And for the record, and Zelinski said later, he dresses like that to show the world that they are at war, much the same as another great war leader did decades ago:

I watched that cringe worthy lecture that Trump gave Zelensky, and it caused me to be very ashamed of my nationality. This man seems to be deliberately sabotaging America's influence throughout the world on a daily basis, and he seems to be grossly overestimating the influence of America.

Does anybody agree with me?

The typical Saint Donald defenders need not reply, though no doubt you will.

Earlier Friday, Trump cut the meeting short with Zelensky, said the Ukrainian leader is "not ready" for peace with Russia in an extraordinary meltdown in the Oval Office that threw question marks over chances for a truce. Zelensky was meant to be making a full White House visit to sign a US-Ukrainian deal for joint exploitation of Ukraine's mineral resources, as part of a post-war recovery in a US-brokered peace deal.

Instead, an ugly clash blew up almost immediately in the Oval Office where Trump and Vice President JD Vance shouted at Zelensky, accusing him of not being thankful for US help in the three-year war against Russian invasion. Trump berated Zelensky, telling him to be more "thankful" and that without US assistance Ukraine would have been conquered by Russia. "You're either going to make a deal or we're out," Trump added. "And if we're out, you'll fight it out and I don't think it's going to be pretty."

Zelensky left in his motorcade shortly after, without holding a planned joint press conference. The resources deal was left unsigned, the White House said. Trump took to his Truth Social platform to castigate Zelensky saying "he disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office." Zelensky is "not ready for Peace," Trump wrote. "He can come back when he is ready for Peace."

AS fare as I can tell, Trump wants the war to end.

Those into this useless war can go get their balls blown off, a bullet in their spine, or half their body filled with shrapnel at anytime.

Stop hiding behind your keyboards and insulting Trump.  Go fight for Biden and Kamala.

Also, use your own money.  My tax money is going to pay down the interest rate on our maxed out ATM card  called the US Government.
