He's a case of not a useful idiot for Putin, but a useful intellectual for Putin.

I think this is a great comment. You even used the word intellectual. Well done but a wee bit ironic..

The betrayal was Biden Inc lying to Ukraine they would win, while indebting them to the US for life.   Some of us knew this because we don't blindly follow everything were told by the legacy

Agreed on that anyway.

Anyone can see what the big plan is.

The Don needs to get Pres Putin onside though. The US takes over Canada, Takes over Greenland. Put that lot with Russia, and they virtually control the North Pole.

I have heard both Sachs and Mearsheimer many many times.

Heard and rejected their narratives.

You probably would.

But maybe more importantly, does The Don reject them like yourself? Or can he see the truth?

I don't think any of us would last long on the front line, especially not in a brutal war like the Ukrainian conflict.

That said, I have lived 2 years in Russia 🇷🇺 and yes I have had a couple of kalashnikovs pointed directly at me. What insights does Frankie have?

He has the knowledge that HE also is safe and anonymous behind his keyboard, plus the fact that the greatest dealmaker in the world prophesied that he would end the war within 24 hours of becoming president.

bear in mind that he became president on 20th January 2025 and the war is still going on 45 days later.

Both of them lie.

Just like Ukraine 🇺🇦, I was just trying to do the right thing, but I was quickly outgunned by Russia 🇷🇺

It is all in my book.

From the very start of the invasion, Western nations provided Ukraine with just enough support to prevent its defeat but never enough to secure victory.

That is what it was all about, wasn't it? Weakening Russia, but not defeating it, so the war would continue. That's what proxy wars are for.

If Ukraine fell into the trap they should have been paying attention, instead of listening to Boris.

It's all been done before by the US, in Afghanistan. Perhaps Zelensky wasn't paying attention in history class.

Those that don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Prove he said that he would end it within 24 hours of becoming president.

All I recall was him saying he could stop it in a day. I'd say the day Zelensky lost it in the W H was that day.

Vietnam 🇻🇳 or the Vietnam War is a good example of exactly why Ukraine 🇺🇦 can win the war. In Vietnam a poorly equipped, but very determined army was up against a vastly superior invading force. Fighting for your homeland and very existence make a difference.

As for Germany 🇩🇪,  yeah, probably not a good idea for Ukraine to march on Moscow.

Slight difference. The North Vietnamese peasants that were sent to die in the south didn't have the option of running away to Phuket, like Ukrainians do.

Determined? More like no option but to fight or die.

Fighting for your homeland and very existence make a difference.

Except South Vietnam was not their homeland, and their homeland was only attacked because they were attacking the US forces in South Vietnam.

IMO the Vietnam war was a tragic mistake for the US that they will likely suffer for many years from, but let's get away from the propaganda.

Also. Vietnam was covered in forest which provided cover for the North Vietnamese troops, but Ukraine is not. Also, the Ukraine war relies on technology, not bodies.

Trump to revoke legal status for 240,000 Ukrainians as US steps up deportations!

  • Summary
  • Trump administration move is part of broader rollback of Biden-era migration programs
  • Some of those migrants could be subject to fast-track deportation
  • Ukrainian and Afghan migrants face uncertainty under new policies
WASHINGTON, March 6 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump's administration is planning to revoke temporary legal status for some 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia, a senior Trump official and three sources familiar with the matter said, potentially putting them on a fast-track to deportation.
The move, expected as soon as April, would be a stunning reversal of the welcome Ukrainians received under President Joe Biden's administration.

The Ukrainian military will be happy with all the new "recruits". :cheesy:

They are not forgotten at all. Ukriane remember and honor their fallen heroes.

A strong national identity will emerge out of the ashes of this war, similar to Findland after the winter war.

Putin is a pacifist compared that the old man Biden.

Biden will be the worst prez in History.

Just listen to Jeff Sachs talk about Biden's last two years in office as being one in the complete fog of dementia.

And yet, they still tried to elect him for Prez, even though a larger percentage of his brain had been rotted out, due to dementia.

This idea of deceit and deception is abominable.

Biden was abominable.

Biden did more damage due to having more power than Putin.

Maybe just a slight hyperbole, maybe...

I would suggest you are talking a right load of cr@p.

Why not say something about your leader Trump, rocking the World boat because he has no idea what he is doing...😱

Why don't you admit Trump is an embarrassment wearing make-up....?

Plus, Biden is now retired, get over it, just sit back and see what problems your hero will make for the ordinary Joe, you.........😢

The US, not the EU, wanted this war. The EU had everything to lose, starting with cheap gas. The US got this war started, then walked out in the middle of it.

If it can be proven the Ukranians were behind the blowing up of the German pipeline, the EU should let Ukraine fall IMO. It is not impossible however for the US to have been the instigator (even if some Ukranians planted the explosives).

Funny. Step up with what? The Europeans have no ability to wage war nor do they have the ability to help Ukraine wage war. Other than the British, the Europeans would be useless in a war.
