In defiance of Trump, I think Nato should put troops on the ground in Ukraine.

Gosh, we've been moving NATO closer and closer for decades, and Russia just sits there, minding its own business.

Obviously McCarthy never died, the legacy lives on.

It is quite infantile to see NATO as a country that wants to take over Russia.

As for minding it's own business, what rock have you come out from under.

Well said. Lots on here want other people to do the fighting and dying for them, as they warmonger from behind their computer screens.

If they got called up they'd want the war to end pretty quickly.

Millions of them on the internet.

Trump and Vance are playing their tit for tat games.

Zelenski hasn't signed away generations of his countries resources.

Why doesn't Nato send 50,000 troops to Ukraine now. Fight and push out Russia. Ukraine's troops leave Russia

Putin will not do anything. He's all talk.

Good point / good strategy.

Maybe, but. General Westmoreland wanted nuclear weapons sent to South Vietnam in the event of a defeat at the war's bloodiest battle, though President Johnson axed the operation. Gen. MacArthur asked the Joint Chief of Staffs for nuclear weapons during the Korean War.

Sometimes things don't happen.

Good.

He didn't call it a country and he didn't mention any takeover.

It is NOT an either or question.

Of course the war MUST stop but NOT by capitulation to an aggressor.

We're all waiting with baited breath, what's the solution that's acceptable there roughie?

Things picking up in forming a defiant front against the Russian Mafia with Sweden and Finland now in NATO, Saab has already negotiated framework agreements with the Nato Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). Private companies will benefit from pledges by Nato member states to increase defence spending.  All this because NATO can no longer trust America.

Thank you, Mr. President.

Note, not private (or public)  US companies. Weapons sales are ITAR controlled, and its likely the US will block sales on munitions to 3rd parties if they think they will end up in Ukraine.

This will not help the balance of trade with Europe.  Realistically, the US cannot expect Europeans to buy more LHD F250s, Suburbans, Cadillacs, Lincolns etc to make up for the Mercedes, BMWs and Range Rovers that US buyers seem to like. So where does trade go?

When I asked you to "translate the above into comprehensible English" i expected a comprehensible sentence or two!

Any chance of responding, regarding  your original message, in English sentences please as I have no clue what points, if any you are trying to make.

It seems some are willfully incapable of reading what they deem to be ideologically impure English, regardless of its pristine clarity. It's a sign of intellectual weakness and poor education.

Posts using derogatory and toxic nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names will be removed. If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly, this applies to both sides of the political debate.

have you ever been in combat?  Just wondering.

and that is relevant how? Perhaps you don't know this, but for every soldier in a war, about 1 in 10 are actually shooting at other people, so not many are actually in combat, even if they serve in a war.

Being a vet in a hot war zone separates those from every other being.  Yeah, many of their families too end up suffering even if the vet survives.  I spent a several years in a hot war zone both as a vet and a civilian.  Does it affect one? of course it does and for me, it definitely makes me look at non veterans' opinions too both those that went to combat and those that stayed behind and supported those fighting troops.  All veterans are brothers  and by attacking the Veterans Administration which provides support for the American vets, could be a catalyst to motivate the American public.  In any case, I realize opinions are like A%%holes, we all have one and have to recognize we all have a varied life experinces.  Have a good day!

Fair enough that you were in a teeth arm, but my point is that it's possible to serve in a war without ever being shot at. Attacking Trump for not participating in that vile mistake of a war is hardly relevant to his ability to run the country. Bush the younger, Clinton, Obama and Biden  did not serve in a war zone either, but I don't remember your side attacking them for not doing so- hypocrisy perhaps?

and if he isn't?  those European NATO countries are only a couple of minutes away from possible nukes.  If Putin wasn't afraid to scarf up Crimea in 2014, saw the reaction from the west, then that is why he went ahead into the Ukraine.  He has lost way too many soldiers because of the military equiipment privided by the west but he also has gained a lot of knowledge about the world.  too scary for me!

Well you also have not seen me write any praises of any of those mentioned either.  Bush may have worn a flight suit, but to call him a vet would not be fair to most vets.  Many presidents have led the nation in a war and did so successfully by listening to veterans.  But I am not a fan of politicians and very seldom do I agree with much of what they do.  I also spent many years as a government civilian so have been around a lot of real losers in my opinion anyway.
