  • I was also suprised to hear this. There's nothing important to keep safe in my account and I wouldn't care if someone hacked it. I suppose some members hell bent on post counts who live on this forum

Yeah but they might use your aseannow ID to drain someone else's life savings via a confidence scam. People might see your ID and think you're trustworthy when they actually might be dealing with a professional scamming operation.

At the very least if you have a weak pwd you should change to a strong one.

You don't know how scammers work these days? 

There is no money on the public forum but there is money if people are contacted by PM and play a confidence game.

Steal your ID. Post something tempting for sale. Find victims. Play a refund gambit scam to control victim's bank accounts to drain them. If you don't know what that is, youtube is your friend. Scamming is a huge industry. If crimes are done using your ID, you might have some splaining to do.

No! who knows the email address you have Linked to your account? whereas uyour username can be seen by anyone who visits the site.
