Trump says Hunter Bidens laptop is real, fact checks call it a lie as according to engrained democrat narratve it is actually Russian disinfo. Who lied? The laptop deny was not a lie, as the content of the laptop was not made available by Giuliani, apart from the NYPost, so it could not be checked. It was an assumption in the absence of available evidence. After the content was ultimately made available, it was assessed by MSM as at least partly valid (ex.WAPO). A sharp contrast with MAGAs still supporting the big lie, despite being debunked by the failure of all GOP lawsuits, recounts and audits.
