Trump has a B.S. in Economics from Wharton

That makes sense

The only B.S. is that you don't know how Bachelor of Science is abbreviated.

The only thing I smell right now is a very angry loser that tries to be relevant by continuing to post derogatory statements about President Trump. Well, post all you want but that is not going to change the fact that President Trump is making American Great Again.

What's the the difference?  Is there a requirement for a specific level of confirmed academic achievement to be President?

"Donald Trump and his representatives threatened the colleges he attended and the College Board that he would sue them if records about his academic performance ever became public, Michael Cohen said Wednesday in testimony to a House of Representatives panel.

In explaining why he calls the president a con man, Cohen said, in prepared testimony, “When I say con man, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores. As I mentioned, I’m giving the committee today copies of a letter I sent at Mr. Trump’s direction threatening these schools with civil and criminal actions if Mr. Trump’s grades or SAT scores were ever disclosed without his permission.”

Since when did grades start to make any difference in the real world? You go to school, do what you have to do to graduate, and go find a job.  Once you find one, the rest is up to you.  Can you perform?  How well?

It's easy enough to think of billionaires who dropped out of school, only to create some of the greater businesses in the world.

Your reply shows you simply retorted with an uneducated comment about The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with absolutely no research. Such is the way with those who suffer from that which cannot be named.

AI Overview

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania is consistently ranked among the top business schools globally. In the 2025 U.S. News & World Report MBA ranking, Wharton secured the top spot for the second year in a row. The school also ranked #1 in the Financial Times' 2025 list of global MBA programs.

Quite sad you are. A great reflection though of the losers on the loony left.

Interesting angle, to question Trump's intelligence right now, in view of his daily bozo performances during this second term. Thanks Placeholder for the link, which I made work somewhere else and have copied.

It does seem strange that Michael Cohen was instructed to suppress these details years ago. The truth I guess, was unpalatable!

"Donald Trump and his representatives threatened the colleges he attended and the College Board that he would sue them if records about his academic performance ever became public, Michael Cohen said Wednesday in testimony to a House of Representatives panel.

In explaining why he calls the president a con man, Cohen said, in prepared testimony, “When I say con man, I’m talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores. https://www.insidehighered.com/sites/default/server_files/media/Trump_0_0.pngTrump attended Fordham University before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Cohen released the letter he sent on Trump's behalf to Fordham, which cited the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, which indeed would bar any college from releasing grades without the permission of a student or former student. The letter said that Trump had become aware that journalists were asking for his grades, and so he wanted to reach out. The letter said that Trump would "hold your institution liable to the fullest extent of the law" for any release of his records. The P.S. to the letter changes tone and says, "Mr. Trump truly enjoyed his two years at Fordham and has great respect for the university."

A spokesman for Fordham released this statement to Inside Higher Ed: "The university received a call from someone on the Trump campaign as now President Trump was gearing up for his run. We told the caller that Fordham is bound by federal law, and that we could not/would not reveal/share any records (as we would not reveal any student records) with anyone except Mr. Trump himself, or any recipient he designated, in writing. Fordham received a follow-up letter from one of Mr. Trump's attorneys summarizing the call and reminding us that they would take action against the university if we did, in fact, release Mr. Trump's records. Our stance remains the same: we obey federal law and don't release student records to anyone but the student/graduate or anyone that the student designates, in writing." The College Board declined to comment on Cohen's testimony. Penn also declined comment.

Cohen's testimony noted that Trump, in 2011, had "strongly criticized President Obama for not releasing his grades" Cohen noted that "Mr. Trump declared, 'Let him show his records' after calling President Obama 'a terrible student.'"

Many replying to this and other Trump threads, seem to have been taken over by the cult and also, can no longer see reason.

My conclusion. Trump is overloaded with cunning but lacks basic reasoning powers.

Trump came to Wharton in 1966 as a 20-year-old transfer student from Fordham, enrolling as an undergraduate, not an MBA candidate (the MBA program is more exclusive), and flush with $2 million loaned to him by his father.

No, I don't have one of those, whatever it is, I don't have an M.Sc., either. Got a few O-Levels, though.

At the time, Nolan said that more than half of Penn applicants were accepted into the school while transfer students, such as Trump, were given a higher acceptance rate based on their previous college experience.

Data on the acceptance rate for the University of Pennsylvania in the 1960s isn't available, however, in the 1980s, the rate was "slightly greater than 40%," according to the school's website.

At the time of writing, the school has an acceptance rate of 7%, according to the US News & World Report.

No, idea, what makes you think that I'm a "Liverpudlian" (I suppose that you're referring to  geographically specific ones?), perhaps you should do a survey.

Don't give a rat's rears side about his academic achievements. I is now obvious that the first 100 days of his presidency will be the worst ever by any president. He failed and flip/flopped on everything he tried to do, he took over an economy in good shape and now the World is selling off US Government bonds... What else would I need...

And so what if he got a D in Maths? Einstein was a terrible student. Tesla never did his homework. All geniuses failed at school. The rigid constraints stifle the free spirit of true genius.  Thankfully Trump managed to rise above it and unfold his true magnificence, like a butterfly hatching from a, a, you know what I mean...

People like Turing, Newton  and Werner von Braun excelled at school. Your claim "All geniuses failed at school" is bending the truth to breaking point.

The word you are looking for is chrysalis. In Trump's case, a rectum is the more appropriate expression.

100 days?   Means nothing...he's got 1,361 to go.

Did they?...

Alan Turing's formal school performance wasn't always stellar. He faced challenges in subjects like English and his teachers weren't always impressed with his work habits but he excelled in areas like mathematics and science.

Newton did not excel in traditional school settings. While he wasn't a top academic performer, he possessed a remarkable aptitude for mathematics and science.

Werner von Braun did not initially excel at school, particularly in subjects like physics and maths.
