Is that coming from the same intelligence knobs that said the laptop was a Russkie fake?

Because they already shot their credibility bolt.

From the article:

"according to people familiar with the matter".

"The people familiar with this assessment spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss confidential intelligence matters."

From the paper already caught blatantly lying more than once.

The determination is the most comprehensive assessment to date undercutting the president’s rationale for deporting suspected gang members without due process.

Since the article is behind a paywall, perhaps you could summarize;

a/ what is the president's rationale

b/ how is it undercut

Thanx!

Thank you for providing no actual information about the issue but instead resorting to unbacked generalizations.

I'm in good company.  So did the OP.  He just linked to lefty talking points that hold as much water as the Russia Collusion hoax and the Laptop is Russkie disinformation hoax from "intelligence sources" (and WaPo).

I could do a Google search and find a zillion other sources.  But why bother getting into a war of the dueling links?  Or clog the forums with the non-stop Orange Man Bad drivel?

Here's a link that works.

Just gave it a quick read.

The writer makes a valid point regarding the minutae of the procedures. TBH, I would be sceptical if there were any big contacts between Maduro and the gangs. As the report says, there are low level collaboration but it is hard to determine anything above that level.

But in the end, so what? A procedure that facilitates removing violent gang members from the US is preferable to the alternative. Being gang members is just the icing on the cake- if they are illegal, they go.

Yes, breaking laws and lying about it for the sake of ends the government desires always ends well.

A new U.S. intelligence assessment found no coordination between Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang, and the Venezuelan government, contradicting statements made by Trump administration officials to justify the use of the Alien Enemies Act for deporting Venezuelan migrants. The assessment, which involved input from all 18 intelligence agencies, stated that there was minimal contact between some gang members and the Venezuelan government but no coordination or directive role. The FBI was the only agency that did not agree with the findings. The White House and the office of the Director of National Intelligence did not respond to requests for comment. The Supreme Court recently ruled that the Trump administration can use the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan migrants, but they must receive court hearings before being taken from the United States. Tren de Aragua, which has been linked to various crimes, was declared a foreign terrorist organization by the Trump administration.

Grab any straw for deflection....

Integrity comes from telling the truth. Agencies that pushed disinformation to game an election have zero integrity and deserve zero trust. The same as posters that lapped up the Hunter Biden's laptop is the new pizzagate and still claim it fact years after they knew they were wrong. Its gone, you're never to be trusted again.

You mean the posters who claimed that Hunter Biden's laptop proved Joe Biden's criminality?

Speaking of grasping for straws, I don't hold a candle to the Orange Man Bad crowd.  Or the original post.  And so many more just like it that scrounge the interwebs for anything that remotely supports their narrative.  Even crap that comes from sources that have been proven wrong again and again.  In fact, their raison d'etre is peddling propaganda.

like claiming rigged elections for years?

No, the transfers proved that. Posters commenting proves nothing.

You are making stuff up again. There is no proof incriminating Joe Biden in the laptop!

Personally, neither grooming gangs anywhere in the world, nor dictators bombing civilians to shreds. Agreed?

Posts using derogatory and toxic nicknames or intentional misspelling of people’s names will be removed. If you don’t want your post to be removed, spell people’s names correctly, this applies to both sides of the political debate.

Remember 10% for the Big Guy?

That's not enough to convict, but it sure is incriminating.  Enough to subpoena the bank records that were enough, had he not been an old guy with a bad memory.
